Setting WAP Over CSD

1. To set WAP over CSD, press Menu then select Operator Services then select
WAP. Operator Services appears when the SIM card being used has STK.
2. Select Access Settings, and then Select one WAP profile. Press the middle button then select Change and enter details for the following parameters: Change name: myGlobe WAP GSM Setting Phone Number ISDN Number: +639172399 Login: globe Password: globe Inactivity time: 60 sec. (user dependent) Gateway I.P. Address: 192.9.163.34 Port: 9201 Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc Bearer: GSM 3. To activate WAP over CSD, press the Menu, select Operator services then WAP. Select Access Settings choose myGlobeWAP then Activate. 4. To start browsing, select WAP from the screen or from Menu>Oper.

Add New Modem Using a proprietary modem
1. Insert the proprietary CDROM software driver in your PC. If the installation did not start automatically, browse your CDROM using Windows Explorer then search for the setup.exe or Install.exe. Double click the Setup.exe to start installation then follow the installation wizard.
Create Dialer 1. From the Start Menu, select Programs>Accessories>Communications>Dial-up networking.

Double click the Make new connection icon. Enter name under the Type a name. At the Select a device slide, select the proprietary modem of Philips. Click on Configure>Connections then click Advanced. At the Extra settings, enter at+cgdcont=1,IP,internet.globe.com.ph, ,0,0. Click OK. Click next. At the telephone number enter *99***1#. Click Next then Finish. Right click the dialer then select Properties. Unclick the Use area code and

dialing properties.

Click the Server Types. Unclick all options excluding TCP/IP. To start browsing, double click the dialer and select Connect.
