The DV-610AV, DV-420V, and DV-220KV can upscale video signals from 480i/p to a maximum of 1080p HDMI output, allowing you to enjoy standarddefinition video sources in HD resolution. All models feature Pioneer's 2-3 Pull-down PureCinema Progressive Scan Technology, which accurately inserts additional frames to the DVD data for natural, film-like images.
Inputs and Outputs HDMI Interface (DV-610AV/DV-420V/DV-220KV)
The DV-610AV, DV-420V, and DV-220KV feature HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface), an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. For example, combine the DVD player with the latest Pioneer A/V receiver and a flat screen TV, and HDMI's all-digital signal processing gives you superior pictures and sound with no loss.

USB Terminal

Versatile Playback Functions DivX Video Playback
The DV-420V, DV-320, DV-220KV, and DV-120K feature the latest DivX certification, allowing playback of exciting contents such as Hollywood movies. The units support playback from USB as well as DVD-R/RW/ROM and CD-R/RW/ROM discs, offering flexible media options. The DV-610AV is an official DivX Ultra Certified product, compatible with playback of enhanced DivX video features.
CD -> USB Recording (DV-610AV/DV-420V/DV-320/DV-220KV/DV-120K)
You can directly record songs from CDs on to USB devices. The data is stored in MP3 format, letting you choose the bit rate from 128/192/320 kbps. You can copy the whole album, or select tracks.
Sound Retriever (DV-420V/DV-320/DV-220KV/DV-120K)
The Sound Retriever significantly improves compressed audio quality to the level of CD sound in 3 steps (high/low/off), by creating new signals to restore minor details left out during the compression process. The feature is effective for both analogue and digital output, and upgrades MP3/WMA sound closer to the original master.
