Plantronics Wired Headset
The Cisco phone does not require an audio processor. 1. Install the cable p/n 26716-01 into the headset port. 2. Connect your Plantronics headset to the cable 3. Initiate/Terminate calls via the headset button on the phone. If you previously used a M12 Plantronics audio processor, you may use the long curled cable from the audio processor.
Note: If the phone is powered the corded H101-CIS or H91CIS headsets are required.
Plantronics Wireless Headsets
If using the HL10 handset Lifter Do not install the headset remote base unit into the headset port. 1. Install the Cisco handset into the Plantronics remote unit. Leave the headset port empty. 2. Install the headset remote base unit into the handset port of the Cisco phone. 3. Answer/End calls by pressing the call control button on the headset. All headset settings are factory default. If NOT using the HL10 handset Lifter 1. Install the headset remote base unit into the headset port on the Cisco phone. Do not unplug the phones handset. 2. Switch the compatibility dial on the left side of the base unit to position 4 and the Tx switch to position A. 3. Switch the Intellistand setting on the right side of the remote base unit to the down position. (The = sign) 4. Answer/End calls by lifting the headset out of the base and press the headset button on the phone.
