Vista includes near-universal compatibility with single- and multiline telephones,* as well as ergonomically designed Volume, Headset / Handset and Mute controls. The Quick Disconnect between the adapter and the headset allows you to move away from your phone without removing the headset or disconnecting the call. Comes with a lightweight 10-foot coil cord.
*Will not work with dial-in-handset or cordless telephones.

Plantronics Vista M12 and MX10 amplifiers bring superior sound-quality and acoustic protection to your telephone. As well as providing compatibility with those telephones that do not allow direct connection of headsets, the Vista M12 and MX10 offer a range of additional features to enhance the sound quality of your phone conversations. Most of the time, what you hear via your phone or headset is what you expect someone else speaking at a normal level. But very occasionally, unexpected and sometimes loud sounds can also be heard. Examples include network interference, fax machine tones or even something such as a malicious caller shouting or blowing a whistle. With the acoustic shock protection built into all Plantronics professional headsets, such sounds are kept below the level where they could damage hearing. However, such sounds may still be uncomfortable and very disconcerting. The Vista M12 & MX10 both incorporate SoundGuard Plus to address this situation, instantly reducing such sounds to a more comfortable level. Call Clarity meanwhile uses a combination of techniques to improve sound quality for the clearest possible calls.

SoundGuard Plus Plantronics SoundGuard Plus technology ensures loud tones are quickly reduced to more comfortable levels, using a sophisticated 3-stage process to protect users from sudden increases in sound levels. SoundGuard Plus also ensures that the normal, human voice remains natural and unchanged, delivering face-to-face clarity of communication within a contact centre or office environment.

Call Clarity The Vista M12 and MX10 amplifiers also include Plantronics Call Clarity system, which uses electronic signal processing to reduce phone noise for the clearest possible calls. With its Automatic Gain Control system, Call Clarity also maintains constant volume levels, as set by the user. This ensures all conversations are held at a comfortable and consistent level, regardless of the loudness of the incoming call. Additionally, carefully chosen frequencies are enhanced for maximum speech intelligibility. The Vista M12 can be used with the majority of telephone systems. The MX10 adds the possibility of using one headset for both telephone and computer use. With independent control of 2 separate audio channels, along with audio switching capability, you can swap between a telephone call and PC audio input. For specialist applications, the volume of each channel can be individually controlled. The MX10 can even be used for voice recording.
