The quality XGA alternative featuring a DVI input and second monitor output.
The second in a new generation of U2 Series projectors, preceded by the U2-817. Identical to the U2817, except this U2-1200 has a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768. Your projected image will be extra sharp! The U2-1200 also has a second monitor output, commonly known as "loop-through." This special feature provides an RGB output on the back of the projector for connection to an additional display device. Very useful for teaching! A lower-cost projecting solution containing enhanced functionality. Now you can purchase an economical U2-1200 with features once found only on the most advanced models! For example, this projector has a DVI connection input, which allows you to project a pure, uncompressed digital signal for the best image quality possible. Also, an exceedingly high contrast ratio of 1500:1 produces the truest whites and blacks. You can choose to extend your lamp life with the new "Eco-Mode," saving you lamp hours, with only a 20% reduction in brightness. The U2-1200 is one of the best-priced, feature-laden projectors on the market, perfect for people with tight budgets and uncompromising standards! The U2-1200 uses Texas Instruments' new DDR DLP chip. With this next generation device at its heart, the U2-1200 delivers 25% greater brightness and more contrast than its predecessors. Use of the new DDR dramatically improves the projector's contrast with an incredible 1500:1 ratio. Project crisp, sharp images in which black is really black, and white is really white. A rich range of gradations enables the faithful reproduction of subtle color shades, greatly enhancing the picture's quality.

Automatically adjusts the phase, clock speed, and resolution of the RGB signal from the PC. Enhanced presentation support with on-screen timer and custom logo projection. Contrast Ratio: An incredible Light/Dark contrast is 1500:1! Black is black, and white is white. This provides clearer images of text and fine drawings than other low-contrast projectors with the same brightness, also allowing fine gradations of expression with photographs and other images.
DVI Interface: For a pure digital connection, with no signal compression, the U2-1200 features the advanced Digital Visual Interface (DVI). You can also project an HDTV signal through your DVI input. Note: Your computer must be equipped with a DVI port to use this cable with the U2-1200.
Digital Zoom Feature: This function projects the point you want to emphasize most on the screen, and allows greater control with a scrolling feature while zoomed in.
