Polk has always been in the main stream of beautiful crafted speakers that produce such brillance and balance in true sound .. gee wiz was running Bose 301,s as my front speakers, now I realize how much I was missing. Terrific sound clear Running 7.1 system from a Sony E.

This is a great speaker, and the price is great also. I would recommend buying a really great receiver to push them.

I was one of those folks with bose speakers as my front speakers. I am not going to bash Bose.

Driven by a Denon AVR791 and matched with Monitor 40 surrounds. By comparison to the Monitor 30 and Monitor 40 which I owned for quite a while, this is a vastly superior product. I use thes as front speakers in a 5.1 setup. I use an Asus Xonar 1.3 deluxe to control these towers with a sony amp I got at a pawn shop.

4 Stars Overall, but Not 5 I just purchased these Polk Monitor 70 speakers going by the numerous reviews here on Amazon and my expectations were high. Good quality product The quality of the speaker is excellent for the price.

Great sounding speakers. Great price. Good service from amazon. Very happy with this product from Polk audio. I bought these to use with a Cambridge Audio Azur ver 2 reciever and a Marantz CD player and they sounds really great.

Good Value These speakers were exactly as advertised. They arrived before the scheduled delivery date and, get this. Great product, fast shipping These speaker are great, full sound and sharp.

Great sound, really surprised how much bass they have. Using an Onkyo with 65 watts/channel and was worried it may not be enough power.

These speakers are Great!!!. I did a lot of research on them before purchasing and read nothing but good things. One of the best fronts in this price range. Little weak in bass but then you have sub woofer for that. Easy Setup","Good Power Output". These speakers sound great for the price. Good value; decent power handling as well as efficiency. Attractive Design","Easy Setup".

You are bidding on a used pair of Polk Audio RTA 11TL loudspeakers with Oak vinyl finished. I purchased this pair about 2 years ago on eBay; I have been feeding them with a 255 watt per channel Hafler amp. The RTAs are one of my favorite moderately priced speakers; I have another pair (not for sale) that I bought new in 1991. There are some minor fine scratches on the side of one of the cabinet which you can feel more then see; these speakers will be sold as is with no refunds. The following specs are out of the Instruction Manual (included), Driver complements: One 1 inch Polk SL3000 dome tweeter. Two 6 1/2 inch Polk tri-laminate polymer bass-midrange drivers. Two 8 inch fluid-coupled passive subwoofers, one high-resonance, one low-resonance Overall frequency response: 22-26,000 Hz -3dB limits: 29-25,000 Hz Recommender power: 30-250 watts / channel Compatible with 8 ohms Size: 39H X 10 1/2W X 14 1/2 D Weight: 58 lbs each Shipping weight 62 lbs each

These are a pair of outstanding, large, high end speakers. They are in excellent shape and sound as good as new! There is one small chip out of the top of one and the bottom, back corner is chipped. Both are only slightly noticeable. I am the original owner and have taken good care of them. They come with the original instruction manual.
