Hlio Rotenberg wins Valor Executive Award for the fifth consecutive year
Curitiba, May 4, 2011 Positivo Informtica S.A. (BM&FBovespa: POSI3), the largest manufacturer of computers in Brazil and the leader in the educational technology segment, announces that Hlio Rotenberg, CEO of Positivo Informtica, won Valor Executive Award in the Information Technology/Industry category for the fifth consecutive year, an award given by Valor Econmico newspaper to the best executives of each economy sector.
In its 11 edition, Valor Executive Award relied on a jury composed of domestic and international headhunter companies representatives. The election took into account the performance of executives in 2010 along with managerial aspects, such as their ability to identify opportunities for innovation and growth, skills in leading teams and the companys image on the market. I am very proud of being a member of this team of winning executives. This is not only my achievement, but of all my team. I rely on an integrated, motivated, dedicated and qualified staff to deal with the daily challenges of our activities, says Hlio Rotenberg.
Mr. Rotenberg's career started to be built when he joined Grupo Positivo in 1988, becoming the head of the computer science program of Faculdades Positivo (today Universidade Positivo). At that time, he envisaged an opportunity in Brazil: the demand for personal computers (PCs). Rotenberg submitted a proposal to create a company that would operate in this segment under Grupo Positivos management. Together, they materialized the Brazilian corporation belief in technology, when at that time, most of people were not looking at this business segment, resulting in Brazil's largest manufacturer of computers and national leader in Educational Technology.

MATERIAL FACT
POSITIVO INFORMTICA S.A. (" Positivo"), the largest manufacturer of computers in Brazil, hereby announces the beginning of its operations in the IT markets of Argentina and Uruguay. Positivo's internationalization process starts with the creation of a joint venture with Argentine company BGH Sociedad Annima (BGH) for the production and sale of IT products (desktops, notebooks, all-in-ones, e-books and tablets) in Argentina and Uruguay. The main purpose of the partnership with BGHa traditional company in Argentina and a large manufacturer of consumer electronics, mobile phones and IT productsis to ensure a significant share in the IT markets in Argentina and Uruguay. In the Argentine market for over 90 years, BGH has extensive knowledge and strong operations in the Retail and Government markets, and offers advanced technology in information, telecommunications, and climatization systems. In order to execute the joint venture, Positivo has acquired a fifty percent (50%) stake in the capital stock of Argentine company Informtica Fueguina S.A. ("Company"), which was previously held, directly and indirectly, by BGH. Pursuant to the joint venture agreement, the company's management will be shared between BGH and Positivo. The deal also includes the construction of a plant in the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, in Argentina, after complying with legal formalities. The products will be manufactured and sold by the Company under a brand that will join the Positivo and BGH brands, without prejudice to the creation and use of other brands by the Company. Positivo estimates an initial investment of USD 8 million. The plant is scheduled for startup in mid February 2011, subject to government approval.
