Guide to USB Programming Cable Usage

Procedures 1. Install the USB driver SETUP.exe 2. Install the programming software of PUXING radio. 3. Startup the programming software. 4. Connect the USB programming cable. 5. Select a communication port.
The communication port varies according to the USB port. To make sure and correctly select the communication port for USB programming cable, view the detailed information of port from the computer hardware Device Manger after connecting a USB device to a computer. Take WINDOWS 2000 for example, right-click My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager, to view the detailed information. [PX-777] Cannot import (.chirp or.csv), get frequency out of range error
1. Download from radio 2. export channels (they came from the radio, so presumably it supports them) (CSV or.chirp) 3. import the file
.chirp file will say "Unable to load Schema".csv will have all channels greyed out with message "Cannot be imported because: Frequency 147.0000000 is out of range" (same message for other frequencies 146.760, 144.390 and others).
What should happen:
Channels are imported
System information: MacBook Pro (i5), MacOS 10.8.3, CHIRP daily 20130506, GTK 2.24.10, PyGTK 2.22.0, Python 2.7.2
