In 2005 we assembled a design team from the worlds most experienced and successful loudspeaker designers and presented them with a very simple goal. We challenged them to redefine the possible and design and produce the very best affordable loudspeakers the world has ever known. The multiple awards and ecstatic reaction from the worlds press confirmed our belief that the Q Acoustics design team achieved this monumental objective and the original 1000 Series loudspeakers represented unequalled sonic performance in their class. How did they attain this astonishing result? The answer was a combination of brilliant design and the freedom to implement that design to maximise sonic performance. They were never forced to compromise their ideas by using off the shelf solutions. Every part of the 1000 Series was bespoke, optimised specifically for each new model. The tweeters, bass/midrange drivers, crossovers, terminal panel and fully braced cabinets were all designed with the sole purpose of creating the very best performing loudspeakers. In 2007 we challenged the team to make them even better.

Every model has improved tweeter performance, a superior crossover with bespoke ClarityCap and other high quality polypropylene capacitors, upgraded internal wiring and cabinet damping materials. 1030i Compact Floorstanding Speaker The elegant appearance of this compact, floorstanding loudspeaker is enhanced by an integral aluminium plinth, featuring top configurable floor spikes for precise, easy adjustment. The classleading sound quality from its long throw, 165mm bass driver and 25mm polyester weave tweeter can be further optimised by adding sand to the special compartment built into the base of the cabinet.

1000WB Wall Brackets The Q Acoustics 1000WB Wall Bracket is for use with the 1010i and 1020i bookshelf speakers. It features a rigid mounting system for safety and sound performance. Simple adjustment allows for optimum speaker angle in all situations.

1000CB Centre Channel Wall Bracket The Q Acoustics 1000CB Wall Bracket is for use with the 1000Ci centre channel speaker. It features a rigid mounting system for safety and sound performance.
1000ST Speaker Stand The Q Acoustics 1000ST has been specially designed for use with the 1010i and the 1020i bookshelf speakers. Both these models can be bolted to the stand to optimise performance. Luxuriously crafted from extruded aluminium with a pressure die-cast base, the 1000ST speaker stand also features integral cable management, ensuring unsightly cables are hidden from view. Spikes are provided with floor protectors, uniquely these can be adjusted from above reducing installation time.
Each model is available in a choice of Graphite Black, Beech or Cherry finishes and all boast the same excellent, low distortion, ferro-fluid cooled, micro polyester weave tweeter. Advanced, fourth order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers are used throughout, ensuring the smoothest response at the crossover frequencies, whilst stringent quality control requires every drive unit to be torque mounted into the front baffles, the latter being rigid, low resonance, multi-radial designs up to 32mm thick.

1020i Bookshelf/Wall Mount Speaker A medium sized bookshelf design that exudes quality. The beautifully finished, low resonance cabinet encapsulates the 25mm ferro-fluid cooled tweeter and precision engineered 125mm bass driver to produce a speaker with extended bass, open mid-range and exceptional high frequency clarity. The 1000ST or 1000WB allow the 1020i to be stand or wall mounted.
1010i Compact Bookshelf/Wall Mount Speaker This ultra compact bookshelf speaker sets new standards of sonic performance in its class. Suitable for both hi-fi music and home cinema use, it is an ideal match for the 1000Ci centre and 1000Si subwoofer. The 1010i can also be stand or wall mounted, using the dedicated 1000ST stand or 1000WB wall bracket.

2050 Floorstanding Speaker

2070S Subwoofer
Unusually at its price level, the Model 2070S subwoofer is a completely DSP (Digital Signal Processing) driven system with highly efficient Class D amplification. However this has meant we have been able to achieve an advanced level of functionality, as well as optimising the sonic performance, by undertaking all filtering and limiting completely in the digital domain. An example is the Speaker Type function switch, which alters the characteristic of the subwoofers frequency response at the crossover point. This allows the subwoofer to be optimised for use with either ported speakers, like the rest of the Q Acoustics range, or infinite baffle models.
2000C Centre Channel Speaker
A centre channel speaker with twin 100mm bass drivers and a ferro-fluid high frequency unit to acoustically match and complement any of the 2000 Series. Removable rear port bungs means it can deliver its outstanding, seamless performance whether it is bookshelf, stand mounted or wall mounted by using the 2000WB wall bracket.

2000ST Speaker stand
The 2000ST speaker stand is designed specifically for the 2010 and 2020 loudspeakers. Precision laser-cut steel construction and acoustic damping foam inserts ensure quality and performance to complement the loudspeakers. Q Acoustics unique spike adjustment means spikes can be adjusted from the top, making speaker levelling simple without the need for visible fixings or obtrusive lock-nuts. The 2000WB Wall Bracket is a unique Tilt and Turn loudspeaker bracket which is adjusted via a single Allen bolt and allows the 2010, 2020 and 2000C models to mounted almost flat to the wall or angled down and/or sideways.
