Testing Rules and Policies
Testing limitations apply throughout the season From February 21st, all forms of private test on tracks selected for the 2011 Eurocup Clio will be banned , except for : - the participation in a National Clio Cup agreed by RENAULT SPORT. - any potential test session organized by RENAULT SPORT Collective or pre-qualifying test : to be confirmed

Meetings Format

FRIDAY
2 x 30 min of collective tests No tyres allocation rules for Friday

SATURDAY

1 Qualifying session (30 min) Best lap time for Race 1 starting grid 2nd best lap time for Race 2 starting grid Race #1 (25 min + 1 Lap)

SUNDAY

Race #2 (25 min + 1 Lap) A maximum of 4 new front tyres available for Saturday and Sunday, No tyres allocation rules for rear tyres for Saturday and Sunday.

Eurocup Clio Rankings

General ranking (Winner of general ranking cannot come back in Eurocup Clio for the next two years) Junior ranking (date of birth after December 31st 1985), Gentlemen ranking (date of birth before December 31st 1970), Nations ranking (The best 3 drivers of each nation ranking are scoring points)
Qualifying and registration
Selection and qualifying process of drivers for Eurocup Clio 2011 to be communicated on January 15th 2011.

Registration process

Until March 21st 2011: Registration form duly filled and sent to Renault Sport Technologies, Payment of entry fees (6500 / car excl. VAT)
Payment to be done to Renault Sport Technologies
March 23th 2010 Definitive list of participating drivers released.

Registration Process

Entry Fees will be 6.500 , excl. VAT, including: Fridays sessions before the meeting All 4 meetings Spare parts truck service Technical support Tyres service Timekeeping by Wi-Fi 1 Eurocup Clio Sabelt overall per driver
Invitation from the Organizing Committee in partnership with the national promoters A maximum of 48 drivers are admitted. To be registered in a national cup (except specific cases) Limited number of entries per national promoter.
Prize Money & Awards (1/3)
Cash Prize Money will be allocated to the Top 5 drivers in each race of total Prize Money, per race in cash : 1st: 2nd: 3rd: 4th: 5th: Best Junior : Best Gentleman : 300

The 2011 Winner will be offered :
End of season Prize Money : Winner of General Ranking : of credit for 2012 racing seasons in Eurocup Mgane Trophy or Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Test at the wheel of Mgane Trophy or Formula Renault 2.0, Winner of Junior Ranking: Free entry fee of 2012 Eurocup Clio, Test at the wheel of Mgane Trophy or Formula Renault 2.0, Prize money are not cumulative in case of overall win of a junior competitor.
