The Ricoh FAX5000L is designed to provide you with high-performance, day in and day out, especially during peak business hours. The FAX5000Ls 75 Sheet Automatic Document Feeder and 1.5 Second Scan Speed combine to make swift work of scanning and storing your large, multi-page outgoing faxes into memory. The 15 ppm printer engine and 600 dpi The FAX5000LS 75 Page ADF printing ensures that the high-volume of documents are quickly printed and have a crisp, professional look. Electronic Sort feature automatically alternates incoming faxes between portrait and landscape orientation so documents are sorted for easy distribution. Parallel Memory Transmission allows the FAX5000L to begin transmitting a fax as soon as the first page has been scanned into memory and a connection is made. Additional pages are scanned during the transmission process making for a super-fast transmission.

Electronic Sort Feature

Automatically send and receive 11" x 17" documents size-for-sizeideal for engineering, manufacturing and graphic arts professionals. Duplex Transmission allows you to send two-sided documents without having to create single-sided originals. Image Rotation ensures that incoming faxes are automatically rotated to fit the letter size paper that is in the FAX5000Lregardless of how they were transmitted. The Fax-On-Demand option provides a timely and cost-effective method for access and retrieval of documents that are stored in the FAX5000L from any remote fax machine. The Fax-On-Demand uses simple voice prompts to ensure that the remote user can quickly retrieve information such as price sheets and brochures, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Ricoh FAX5000L comes standard with a Super G3 33.6 Kbps modem and optional JBIG Compression, which ensures ultra-fast transmission speeds of up to 3 seconds per page.
DUAL ADVANTAGE - DUAL LINE OPTION
You can add an additional Super G3 33.6 Kbps modem with JBIG Compression. Each line operates independently and two lines are always available so that you can take advantage of simultaneous transmission and reception a true productivity bonus during peak volume hours.

Internet Fax - Easily transmit hard copy fax documents in e-mail format to remote compatible fax units or to an e-mail address via the Internet. Internet Faxing bypasses long distance phone line charges allowing you to send fax messages around the corner or the world at virtually no cost! LAN Faxing - Allows multi-user workgroups on a network to increase productivity by faxing documents directly from their PC to any G3 fax. Inbound Fax Routing - Using Sub-Address Routing, received faxes are transformed into e-mail format and routed directly to a specified workstation. Network Scanning - Turns the FAX5000L into a convenient workgroup scanner with scan to e-mail capabilities for easy document archival or distribution. Automatic Document Backup - For companies who need to keep a record of all transactions or communications, the FAX5000L can be programmed to digitally backup all incoming and outgoing fax and Internet Fax documents as e-mail for easy archival and retrieval. If you need more speed, the ISDN Digital Fax option offers 64 Kbps transmissions and can send a document in as little as 1.5 seconds per page. Plus, youll gain a suite of digital fax capabilities such as 99% error free communications, consistent transmission speeds and secure communications.

The FAX5000L comes standard with 250 sheets of paper in letter, legal or ledger (11"x 17") sizes. To meet the most demanding environments, the FAX5000L can be expanded up to 1,250 Sheets with the addition of two letter/legal size 500 sheet paper feed units. In addition to the large standard 2 MB page memory capacity, optional 2 MB, 4 MB and 40 MB memory cards are available providing up to a total of 1,200 pages of document memory. For high-volume applications, combine the Function Upgrade Card option and the 40 MB card for up to 3,000 total pages of available memory. Should you run out of paper during a reception, the FAX5000L automatically stores documents into memory, and then prints them when the paper is replaced. An Intuitive Control Panel and 4-line LCD Display allows easy access to all of the FAX5000Ls features for both expert and casual users. Status Indicator Lights show from a distance whether the FAX5000L is communicating or needs paper or toner.
