Canon PowerShot G10 is in the size of 109.1x77.7x45.9mm and its weight is 350g. Its metal body looks very nice . Canon G10 style with the overall appearance of G7, G9 little difference, to get the first hand feel relatively large volume.

I had a previous G9, and I can tell you, this...  Solid camera with good image quality producing RAW/JPEG images. The camera is well built.

This is my first Digital camera. I have been shooting a Canon A1 for over 28 yrs. I have owned a Canon Xti with good quality lenses, such as 17-55 F/2.8 (about $950 alone) and others. The canon g10 has a lot of stuff that are very useful for both amateur and pro alike. the ND setting does work on high contrast situations.

i guess the other pro is that it didnt fry anything when it failed when is this item going to be available... not worth the price, but a formidable camera, when the price drops below 300. the g10 is a great camera. i also have the g5, and did a lot of research before buying the g10. i almost got the powershot 990is. Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the image quality of the G10 for the amount of money I put into it.

I bought the G10 as soon as it became available in my part of the world. I had been experimenting with many high-end P&S cameras for months.

Digital camera nearly five years development speed can be used "fast" to describe, is not only the performance. Sensitivity range of ISO 80-1600. Canon G10 lens area has a wide-angle 28-140mm zoom lens, maximum aperture of F2.8-4.5, in large scenes.

G10: Noisy sensor above ISO 100, poor optical viewfinder, no HD movies, no articulated LCD. This camera is great for when you want to travel light but have the creative freedom, control and quality of a DSLR.
Andrewus 4:24pm on Monday, March 29th, 2010
Best Point and shoot camera. I got it at 400$. I have taken over 5000 pics so far. This is the best camera you can taken. Very Sharp Macro - best compact macro I can find - better macro than S90. Outdoor shots outperform other compacts.

Rolands Virtual ToneWheel Organ Sounds at Your Fingertips.
Enhanced Virtual ToneWheel Modeling
Whats a Tone Wheel? Tone wheels are the actual moving parts that define the sound of an organ. The most celebrated traditional vintage organ used a total of 91 tone wheels to create its distinctive sound. And these sounds varied depending on the year the tone wheels were made. Fortunately, Rolands Virtual ToneWheel Modeling technology can accurately recreate the sound of several tone wheel types. A Classic Organ Reborn By simulating 91 tone wheel voices in constant independent oscillation, Virtual ToneWheel technology gives the VK-8M realistic organ sounds with full polyphony. Three tone wheel types are available (Vintage 1, Vintage 2 and Clean) with different amounts of leakage. Nine harmonic bars and easy front-panel controls make sound editing ultra-intuitive. Percussion, Vibrato and Chorus Effects The VK-8Ms stellar organ sounds wouldnt be complete without those classic percussion, vibrato and chorus effects. Using the front-panel controls, you can add a percussion effect on the second or third interval while choosing to decrease the volume (soft) or lengthen the decay (slow). You can also add smooth vibrato and chorus to suit your taste.

Realistic Rotary Speaker and Amp Sounds
A classic organ deserves a classic rotary speaker. Thats why the VK-8M is graced with a COSM rotary model than not only simulates the sound of a well-known rotary speaker, but also the construction of its tube amp circuits, actual speaker cabinet characteristics and natural ambience. And with four types of COSM amp models, the VK-8M can crank out a range of overdriven amp sounds perfect for rock and jazz players alike. COSM Amp Type IV stands out in particular for its incredible gain stage and powerful distorted sound.

Once a musical instrument generates sound vibrations, it reaches the human ear through various mediating objects, each of which significantly affects the sound. The material and configuration of the instrument, the electric/electronic/magnetic amplifying system, the air and the reverberation of the room all affect the final sound. Sound modeling, the latest DSP technology, "virtually" reconstructs these objects. Roland's breakthrough Composite Object Sound Modeling (COSM) uses the advantages of multiple modeling methods and succeeds in accurately emulating existing sounds, as well as producing sounds that have never before been created.

Our Most Complete Organ Lineup Ever !
Re-creating the sound of a classic
Tone wheels are the actual moving parts that define the sound of an organ. And these sounds varied depending on the year the tone wheels were made. To have an instrument that could simulate all of these different tone wheel types would be an organ players dream! Fortunately, Rolands Virtual ToneWheel Modeling can accurately re-create the sound of several tone wheel types. The VK-8 and VK-8M feature three popular tone wheels (Vintage 1, Vintage 2 and Clean), while the flagship VK-88 adds a fourth choice (Solid) to

the list. Once selected, the organ sound can be further adjusted using harmonic bars and intuitive controls. Even the most detailed editinglike leakage level and rotary speed controlcan be accomplished right from the front panel. By simulating the sound of 91 tone wheels in constant oscillation, the VK-Series gives players full polyphony when playing the organ soundscomplete with percussion effects and more.
But thats not all. The VK-Series can also produce those classic percussion effects. Using the front-panel controls, you can add percussion on the second or third interval while choosing to decrease the volume (soft) or lengthen the decay (slow). This attention to detail makes all the difference in the VK-Series organ sounds.

sound a notemaking them more suited to the organ (see previous illustration). Waterfall keyboards are also ideal for playing with traditional organ techniques like glissandos. Playing the VK-88 and VK-8 feels just like a vintage organ! Easy tonal editing via harmonic bars Organ players will also be at home with the VK-Series harmonic bars. On the VK-88, youll find nine harmonic bars per manual, plus two harmonic bars each for the pedal part and Orchestral Tones. The nine harmonic bars on the VK-8 and VK-8M, on the other hand, can be easily switched for adjusting the Upper, Lower and Pedal parts. Optional pedalboard and more By connecting the optional PK-25 or PK-7 pedalboard, you can kick bass while keeping your hands on the keyboard. The VK-88 can even be paired up with a matching wooden stand (KS-88) and bench
(BNC-88) for traditional playing. Each of these components has been designed to complement the VK-Series both functionally and aesthetically.

What's more, the VK-88's Orchestral Tones have three parts (Upper/Lower/Pedal) and include instruments like piano, strings, brass and outstanding choir sounds, to name just a few. There are also Tones like Acoustic and Electric bassperfect for playing bass on an optional pedalboard. Unique Active Expression Rolands Active Expression feature makes it easy to slowly fade in a sound over the organ using an optional EV-7 Expression Pedal. On the VK-88 and VK-8, Active Expression can be used to add sonic richness by fading in an Orchestral Tone over the organ sound. By bringing in a

pad or brass, for example, you can accentuate a particular section of a song. On the VK-8M, Active Expression works in conjunction with the Line input. Simply connect an external sound generator (like a synth or MIDI module) and you can fade it in via pedal! Powerful realtime control via light-sensing D Beam The VK-Series incorporates an improved D Beam Controller for more effective performance. Use it to control the rotary speed and to create tone wheel motor stops, or to create glissandos (VK-8M only). On the VK-88 and VK-8M, the D Beams LED even changes color with each D Beam preset, or *VK-88 as your hand moves closer and further away. With the D Beam, you can take organ playing into the future.
