Description
3989 is a asymetrically coated, transparent and repositionable Polyester Film with a low-tack adhesive for high standard Graphic-Art Applications with Inkjet devices. This product is also suitable for areas with high humidity and condensation when pigmented ink is used.

Applications

This Backlit-Film has been developed specially for Indoor-Window-Advertising. Due to the Low-Tack-Adhesive the Film is easily mountable on all smooth surfaces such as Windows and can be repositioned without any gluerests on the surface. Further for shop window decoration the image can be contour cut using a large size inkjet cutter-printer. For Roland CammJet cutter-printer you need a Roland knife ZEC U 3050, set up the weight to 100gr and define a offset of 0.5. Do not moisten surface before mounting and do not use siliconized detergent to clean surface. Other surfaces than window-glas have to be pre-tested. We recommend to laminate the printout when cont act with water is possible.

Installation and Conditions of Use and Stocking
The converting and storage should take place in a climate from 35 to 65% to relative humidity at a temperature from 10 to 30 C. Keep the product in the original packaging (cardboard box and PE bag). It is always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling InkJet coated materials to avoid fingerprints. Installation 12 - 26 deg.C 50-80 deg,F. Operation, (exposed at window): normal = same as above, short time up to 60 deg. C = 149 deg. F.
