Very good, only ever had 1 problem with it. everything internet doesnt stay connect for a long time. Does get hot, came with 1gb ram & not enough for Vista good price, attractive colour scheme, full featured reflective screen is a nuisance mine is a 250gb hdd, 4gig ram and bluray. cheap, easy of use with the shortcut buttons heat

Has lots of built-in features for the price... except Bluetooth. It is a nice notbook. But the screen is not that good and it gets to0 hot.

The price was right. This little laptop is great for what I need it for (quick access to the internet, webcam. I needed a gaming and college computer for daughter. Bought this for $835.

Great deal, Xp drivers are available if you can find them Bulky laptop, its really wide and heavy, but feels ok. I bought 3 of these. Great buy for the price. After receiving my laptop I was very satisfied with the product. It runs smoothly and very fast.

I purchased this laptop at my local Wal-Mart in June of 2008, and I think it was an amazing deal to get a laptop of such durabality, reliability. I got my new laptop Acer Aspire as a Christmas present last year in December.

MIDI Keyboard Controller Its a Fact
The PCR-30 and PCR-50 are USB MIDI keyboard controllers that provide musicians who work with computers all the buttons, knobs and sliders they can use. Whether you need 32 notesthe PCR-30or 49 noteswith the PCR-50these keyboards put you in complete control of your computer-based audio applications. Features include: 25 assignable controls Control of all MIDI messages, including CC, RPN, NRPN, Clock, Note and SysEx USB bus-powered Best key action in its class 16 memory locations for storing settings Templates to keep track of control mapping Expression and Hold pedal connections

Selecting Memory Locations
The PCR-30 and PCR-50 have 16 memory locations in which you can store all of your button, knob and slider settings. You can pre-configure the PCR for different applications or projects, and then save each setup. Note: The PCR-30 and PCR-50 are pre-programmed at the factory with 16 setups in memory designed for GM and XG products, as well as Cakewalks SONAR software and others. You can download new setups from Edirols website at www.Edirol.com. To load a stored setup: 1. Press MEMORY so its lit. 2. Use the DEC and INC buttons or the keys labeled 0-9 and A-F to select the desired memory location. 3. Press ENTER.

Connecting to a Computer

The PCR-30 and PCR-50 can connect directly to your computer using the included USB cable. Follow the instructions on Pages 14-30 in the Owners Manual to install the PCR USB driver and to set up your computer. The PCR 30/50 can also be used as a MIDI interface. You can connect your other MIDI equipment to the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT connectors on the PCRs back panel. Note: If you already have a MIDI interface, you can connect it to the PCRs rear-panel MIDI jacks if you prefer. If you do this, you dont need to install the PCRs USB driver on your computer.
Storing Your Own Settings
Once youve set up the PCR as desired for a particular use, you can save your settings to one of the 16 memory locations. 1. Press EDIT so its lit. 2. Press the key with SAVE written above itthe display blinks SAuand then press ENTER. 3. Use the DEC and INC buttons or the keys labeled 0-9 and A-F to select the desired memory location. 4. Press ENTER.

Setting the MIDI Channel

Use the following procedure to set the MIDI transmission channel: 1. Press MIDI CH so its lit. 2. Use the DEC and INC buttons to select the desired MIDI channel (1-16), then press ENTER.

Sending a Snapshot

When youre working with an external MIDI device such as a sequencer, you can transmit all of the PCR settings at once as a snapshot. This allows you to store PCR settings at the start of a sequencer track, from where they can be automatically loaded back into the PCR when you play the sequence. 1. Simultaneously press MEMORY and MIDI CH so both buttons are lit. 2. Press ENTERthe MEMORY and MIDI CH buttons blink several times, and all of the current settings of the PCR are transmitted.

Sending a Program Change

Use the following procedure to send a Program Change message: 1. Press PROGRAM CHANGE so its lit. 2. Use the DEC and INC buttons or the numbered keys to display the desired Program Change number (1-128). 3. Press ENTER to send the Program Change message.

MIDI Keyboard Controller Panic Mode
Use the Panic feature if MIDI notes become stuck or if other problems occur with the sound. 1. Simultaneously press PROGRAM CHANGE and EDIT so theyre both lit. 2. Press ENTERthe PROGRAM CHANGE and EDIT buttons blink several times and the following messages are transmitted on all MIDI channels: All Sound Off, All Notes Off, and Reset All Controllers.

Assigning Controllers

There are 25 knobs, buttons and sliders on the PCR-30 and PCR-50 that can be assigned to almost any MIDI message. Check out Pages 108-129 of the Owners Manual for specifics on the different messages you can send and how to program them. As an example, lets assign the S1 slider to transmit MIDI Volume messages on MIDI Channel 3: 1. Press EDIT so its lit. 2. Move the S1 slider to select it for editingthe screen displays S-1and then press ENTER. 3. Press the key with CONTROL CHANGE printed directly above it, and then press ENTER. 4. Use the DEC and INC buttons or the numbered keys to select 3, for MIDI Channel 3. 5. Press ENTER. 6. Use the DEC and INC buttons or the keyboard to select 7, the controller number for MIDI Volume messages. 7. Press ENTER. Labconco Purifier PCR Enclosures. Provide a controlled, particle-free environment. These enclosures feature a 99.99% efficient HEPA filter that removes particles down to 0.3 μm. The built-in blower provides ISO Class 5 (former Class 100) conditions by circulating air through the HEPA filter and down to the work area. A filter condition indicator monitors the differential pressure across the HEPA filter for service/replacement status. Enclosure is designed for benchtop use. The 1/4'' glass safety sash is angled for easy viewing of samples and reduced glare. Sash has a 91/2'' opening for safe operation, and swings open to a maximum 183/4'' for loading and cleaning. Prop rod holds sash in place. Two utility ports with iris openings permit passage of electrical cords or tubing. Order optional epoxy work surface for added chemical resist.
