STAHLS Media Profile Collection for SolJet Pro III XC 540
This Document will guide you through installing Stahls' Media Profiles for the Roland SolJet Pro III XC 540 and setting up the queue in VersaWorks. Included in this collection are the Roland RML files for VersaWorks as well as ICC files for graphic applications.

Installing RML files

Start VersaWorks and highlight Media(M). Then select Media Explorer.
When Media Explorer opens, Click the Load from File icon.
Navigate to the Stahls' RML files for the Roland VP300 folder and select the RML file you want to install and then click Open.
The Import Media dialog box will open. Select the media to open from the list. then click OK.
VersaWorks will ask if you want to apply the changes. Click Yes to continue.

Setting up the queue

Highlight Edit(E). Then select either Queue A or B Settings.
You can also double click on either queue's folder icon.
This will open the Queue Properties window. Setting properties in this window will become the default settings for the selected queue. This means that any job added to that queue will use these settings.
Select the Quality tab then select the media type that want to assign to the queue.
While still in the quality tab, select Custom from the preset list within the Color Management section. Next click the Properties button.
Make sure that each section is set up as shown above then click ok.

Next click on the Print Controls tab. Under the Heater Controls section, make sure to have it set to Use Default Media Settings. Lastly click OK to close the Queue Properties.
note: If you are using Stahls' media in both queues,
you will need to follow this procedure for both queues.
Special When switching media frequently, make sure Note:
you check the queue settings including the color management section.
The color management section is a queue level setting it is not attached to the media profile. which means that simply selecting the proper media profile will not update the queue to the proper settings for that media. Likewise, switching to another media like sign vinyl will not switch the queue to the settings for sign vinyl. You will need to remember them and change them manually.
