TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Centaur 1 is an intimate black box studio theatre. The house seats 244 on a steep rake, which provides excellent sightlines. Seating is not flexible. Wood covered with tempered masonite, painted black Through main building doors up one flight of stairs in the main lobby and through loading doors stage right. Door is wide by high Minimal storage available onstage under Mezzanine The mezzanine surrounds the playing space on three sides. The space below the mezzanine is considered backstage. There are a series of removable flats enclosing this area, making it possible for actors to make entrances and exits from upstage and stage right. DRESSING ROOMS 2 @ 6 persons All dressing rooms are equipped with make-up mirrors with lights and clothes racks. Showers and washroom facilities are on the same level, down the hall from dressing rooms The dressing rooms are up one flight of stairs from stage level with access to the stage via a staircase stage right RIGGING There is no permanent rigging. In some circumstances spot lines can be dropped from lighting cradles. There are no stage drapes or cyclorama.

CONTROL BOOTH
