This RAM seems to be just released. For all of those Intel Mac owners out there, I am gonna take the plunge and try 2 of these in a Duo Mac Mini.

Before each use, the supply cord should be completely unwound. Do not allow it to become trapped or pulled over sharp edges. Never lift the appliance by its cord, always use the handle. If you use an extension cord, make sure that it is in perfect condition and appropriate to the power rating of your appliance. Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord. Always turn off and unplug your appliance before maintenance or cleaning. Use only the carrying handle to move the appliance. Your appliance is equipped with a motor protection system. In certain cases of use (suction hose on the car seats.), when it starts, the appliance can make a noise. Always turn off and unplug your appliance before maintenance or cleaning. Never use the appliance without dustbag, filter and motor filter protection. Only use original Rowenta accessories, bag and filters. Only connect Rowenta electrobrush ZR 155 in the electrobrush connector. When the bag full indicator is red, the bag is full or blocked with dust particles. If the indicator remains red with the nozzle lifted off the ground, change the bag.

Wonderbag* : Throw away antibacteria Wonderbag and place a new Wonderbag.

Textile dustbag* : Empty and close the dustbag
Put the dustbag holder into the appliance *depending on model
Important ! Every 12 months change the HEPA filter. It is advised that you note on the filter the date of first use. Every 6 dustbags changes, replace the antibacteria microactive filter and clean the antibacteria motor protection with soapy water, rinse and leave to dry thoroughly before putting back into place.

Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them in a safe place.
Your vacuum cleaner is an electrical appliance: it must only be used under normal operating conditions. The appliance should be used and stored out of the reach of children. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Always keep nozzles and tube ends well away from eyes and ears. Make sure that the operating voltage of your vacuum cleaner is the same as your supply voltage - 230-240v. Unplug the appliance by removing the plug from the power outlet: - immediately after use, - before changing accessories, - before maintenance, cleaning or changing the dustbag Do not vacuum wet surfaces, any kinds of liquids, hot substances, ultra-fine substances (plaster, cement, ash, etc.), large sharp debris (glass), dangerous products (solvents, stripping compounds, etc.), chemical products (acids, cleaners, etc.), inflammable or explosive products (petrolor alcohol-based). Do not immerse the appliance in water or store it outdoors. Do not use the appliance: - if it has been dropped and shows signs of damage or functions abnormally. - if the supply cord is defective In this case do not open the appliance and call our helpline (overleaf). Repairs should only be carried out by specialists using original replacement parts. It is dangerous to try to repair an appliance by yourself. Vacuum cleaner supply cords and winding systems must, in all cases, be replaced by our approved Service Centre. In accordance with current regulations, before disposing of an appliance no longer needed, the appliance should be made non-operational (by unplugging it and cutting off the electricity supply cord). This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any professional use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibillity and the guarantee will not apply.

WHAT TO DO IF

As soon as your vacuum cleaner starts to malfunction, and before performing any checks, stop the appliance by pressing the Start/Stop button and unplug it. Your appliance does not start The appliance is not plugged in. Check that the appliance has not been unplugged, and plug it back in if necessary (see 3). Your appliance performs poorly, makes some noise, whistles and stops. The hose or tool is partly blocked. Unblock the hose or tool. The dustbag is full or saturated. Change or empty the dustbag. The antibacteria HEPA filter, the antibacteria microactive filter, or foam filter motor protection is saturated. Change the filter or clean the foam filter motor protection. The cover is not properly closed. Check that the bag compartment seal is properly in place. Check the position of the bag on its support. Check the position of the bag support. The mechanical power control is open. Close it (see 4). The electronic control is in the Soft position. Set the control to the High position unless you are vacuuming delicate fabrics. The bag full indicator stays red. The dustbag is full or saturated. Change or empty the dustbag. The nozzle is stuck. Open the mechanical power control. Your vacuum cleaner stops while vacuuming The safety thermostat has tripped. Check that nothing is blocking the tool, hose or spiral separator, and that the filter is not clogged. Allow the appliance to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before switching on again. The power cord does not fully retract. The cord slows down as it is retracted. Pull out the cord until completely extended and press on the cord rewind command (see 5). 29. ZR-980 turbo-brush for floors.
With its air-flow driven rotating brush, the ZR Turbo Brush gives in-depth vacuuming and cleaning. It removes threads and animal hairs that have become entangled in the upholstery material. For vacuuming and in-depth cleaning with the air-driven rotating brush. It removes hair, threads and animal hairs trapped in rugs and carpets.

Only use original Rowenta or Wonderbag accessories and filters. Check that the all the filters are properly in place. Never turn the appliance on without a dustbag and filters.

HINTS AND PRECAUTIONS

(according to model) Insert the batteries for the remote ELECTRONIC CONTROL by squeezing the tab to open the cover of the compartment located on the back of the handle.

Turn on ARTEC.

Unwind the cord completely, plug in ARTEC and press the pedal.
Adjust the suction power. Adjust the length of the telescopic tube (according to model).
Metal telescopic tube: Push the adjustment button forwards, slide out the length of tube desired, then release the button to lock the tube.
With the electronic power control (according to model): Turn the knob to adjust the suction power: Max position for floors and Eco position for furniture and delicate surfaces.

BEFORE USING ARTEC

Assemble your vacuum cleaner.
Place the suction hose in the suction opening with the push-button pointing downwards and the groove at the top, then push all the way in.
Plastic telescopic tube: Slide the lower tube all the way out. To adjust the length, slide the tube in while pressing the push button.
With the remote control: Press the + button for floors, and the - button for furniture and delicate surfaces: holding the button down adjusts the power to minimum or maximum.

TO VACUUM WITH ARTEC

Slide back the built-in brush (according to model) to attach the tube(s) to the handle of the suction hose.
Choose the right accessory.
Note: the upholstery tool and the crevice tool are stored in the accessory compartment.
With the suction control slide (according to model): Open the control slide to manually reduce the suction power (ex. when the opening is blocked)
the suction hose: press and pull. Open the cover Press on the bag support to unfasten
Put back in place and close the cover again. Note: The lid will not close unless you have fitted a new bag. Important ! Check, clean and replace the various filters regularly.
Clean the foam air-intake filter.
(model with remote control) Press the PAUSE button; the infrared pickup light stays on, the setting is memorised, and the appliance remains powered ON. Attention! To turn the appliance off for a long time, always press the ( ) pedal. If the supply current is interrupted and then restored (power failure, unplugging and plugging in again) ARTEC restarts automatically.

After use, press the pedal and unplug the vacuum cleaner.

Important ! Always turn off and unplug ARTEC before maintenance or cleaning.

Change the dustbag.

The bag full indicator (according to model) informs you that the bag is full or blocked with dust particles. If the indicator remains lit replace the bag or remove the textile fibres (with the nozzle or Delta Head lifted off the ground and the power set at its max level). Lay the appliance flat and remove
side of the ring to release the bag and dispose of bag in a waste bin Note: do not throw away the yellow support, as this will be used for fitting a new Wonderbag. Push down the cardboard part of the new bag, with the arrows pointing towards the bottom of the bag support. Push the bag support until it clicks into place. Close the cover again and press until it clicks.
Cleaning the air-outlet foam filter.
Take out the filter cartridge, remove the foam filter and clean it after every five bag changes, using lukewarm soapy water (mild washing-up liquid). Rinse, dry and replace the foam.
Empty the cloth dustbag (according to model).
Remove the cloth dustbag, hold it over a dustbin and remove the bar which holds it closed. Empty and brush the dustbag, then close it again.
Change the micro-active filter (ref. Kit ZR 455) (according to model).
Change it once for every five changes of the dustbag. It is located in the filter cassette.

Clean the HEPA

Important: When using the HEPA FILTER SYSTEM, do not forget to remove the air outlet foam filter and the micro-active filter. Remove the filter cartridge. Remove the HEPA filter.
Place it in an upright position and slide the mount on the combination nozzle into the tube holder.
Subject to modifications!

FOR YOUR SAFETY:

Change it every 9 to 12 months (depending on the frequency of use).

Clean ARTEC.

Wipe the body of the appliance and
the accessories with a soft, moist cloth, then dry. Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning products.

TO STORE ARTEC

Press the pedal until the cord is completely rewound. The plug positions itself in its cavity.

WHAT TO DO IF :

Important! As soon as your vacuum cleaner starts to malfunction, and before performing any checks: Stop the appliance by pressing the Start/Stop switch. Unplug the appliance.
ARTEC will not start. The product is not connected to the mains. Check that the product is correctly plugged in. Check the fuse and your mains supply circuit breaker. ARTEC does not suck. Either a tool or the hose is blocked. Unblock the tool or the hose. ARTEC sucks less effectively, makes more noise than usual, and whistles. A tool or the hose is partially blocked. Unblock the tool or the hose. The bag is full or blocked by fine dust. Replace the bag or empty the cloth bag. The foam filter and the micro-active filter are full. Clean the foam filter and replace the micro-active filter. The HEPA filter is full. Clean the HEPA filter. The cover is not properly closed. Check that the bag compartment seal is properly in place. Check the position of the bag on its support. Check the position of the bag support. The air regulator is open. Close the air regulator The electronic power selector is in the min. position. Increase power using the electronic power selector (except when vacuuming delicate fabrics) The bag full indicator is permanently lit The bag is full. Replace the bag or empty the cloth bag The bag full indicator lights up briefly The tool is sticking. Open the air regulator on the handle ARTEC stops while vacuuming The thermal cut-off switch has activated. Clean the motor filter, change the micro-active filter (according to model) and replace the bag. Allow the ARTEC to cool down for 30 minutes before switching on again. The remote control does not work or does not work well: Obstacles, walls or certain surfaces (partitions, doors, high ceilings, lofts, bay windows, dark paint, etc.) interfere with or prevent transmission. Point the handle at the vacuum cleaner. Infrared sources (sun, energy-saving light bulbs, etc.) disrupt transmission. Move away or turn them off. The batteries have run down. Replace the batteries. Use alkaline batteries and change them once a year. The power cord does not fully retract. The cord slows down as it is retracted. Pull out the cord until completely extended and press on the retraction button.
