AGEM F@st 1400 ADSL Internet Gateway products are residential or SOHO routers providing broadband Internet access through ADSL network.
They allow users to share an ADSL access from their PCs and other terminals such as gaming devices, set top boxes or IP phones through Eth 10/100BT, USB and wireless 802.11b interfaces (for the W versions). Compliant with 802.11b specification, SAGEM F@st 1400 W/1440 W work as a Wireless Access Points. They offer a 11 Mbps Wireless LAN and an ease of installation to build up a home network without any cabling in the house or the office. The SAGEM F@st 1400 W/1440 W also feature a high level of security mechanism: 802.11b standard with extensions (128 bits key encryption and the filtering based on Ethernet MAC address List). SAGEM F@st 1400 products integrate a built in ADSL interface allowing the IP streams transmission over a single copper pair at 8 Mbps (downstream) and 800 Kbps (upstream).

The SAGEM F@st 1400 range is compatible with the main DSLAM available worldwide and can operate on ADSL over POTS lines (SAGEM F@st 1400/1400 W) or ADSL over ISDN lines (SAGEM F@st 1440/1440 W). SAGEM F@st 1400 range offers to the customers a wide array of services: Bridge between the different terminals connected through the Ethernet 10/100BT, USB or Wireless interface Secure Internet Access with authentication, filtering and firewall ATM and IP Quality of Service Finally SAGEM F@st 1400 products are easy to configure thanks to a user-friendly and comprehensive http interface. A SNMP agent is also availaible.
