With the external finisher (standard on the dns model) you can staple and sort your copies, and increase paper output up to 600 pages (500+100). Copy like never before Access your personal jobs directly via the fingerprint feature simply by putting your finger on the scanning pad and saving your documents before and after printing them. Print server

On top of the copy and print functions the MF6990 is also a print server. With its powerful 160 Gb hard disk your data can be saved on the multifunction machine and you can free your memory space on your network. The data is printable on demand and can be saved even after being printed. No need to find the original hard copy to print a document stored on the MFP.

By-pass and duplex

The MF 6990 prints in duplex. The multi-format by-pass tray it can print many different paper sizes (envelope, A5, etc.).

The menu informs you of the different tasks in progress. For instance you can visualise the consumable status. You will be automatically informed in case of any consumable running low. You can follow usage in real time and change your consumables very quickly. The front panel has a wide opening to help you access the new generation all-in-one consumable. For additional ease of use and handling the consumables have colour stickers.

In order to provide you with an intelligent and efficient device, Sagem Communications has included Companion Suite Pro Software. Therefore you can turn your device into a smart value added PC multifunction machine. The user is able to organise, find and archive all documents from the PC. The job is made easier thanks to the universal document manager. Companion Manager will help you manage your fax traffic and all scanned documents. With OCR your hard copies are converted into electronic documents.
Companion Suite Pros optical character recognition enables the user to amend, change and save any scanned document. You can add comments such us confidential urgent to do thanks to the post it on your documents.
My embedded web sever: Sagem MF Admin
The Sagem MF admin web server will help you remotely configure (parameters, directories, access protection) and remotely visualise the status (consumables, counters, journals, print queues) of your MF6990 from any PC of the network. With the LDAP function (Light Directory Access Protocol) you can access all the directories available on your network.

Confidentiality

Because you may sometimes need a higher level of confidentiality, security or control: the MF 6990 proposes a wide range of solutions to protect your data, devices and network. The SSL protocol will guarantee you a confidential flow of data and faxes over the network. At any time and in a simple way your documents can be protected by a password or through finger-print recognition. You will be the only person to get access to your documents, print them or manage them.

Since each department has its own processes, the MF 6990 offers a wide choice of user rights management. Its possible to limit the use of the device, to set up printing quotas per user or group. You can share or lock the access to some documents and features. Thanks to the MF 6990 you keep everything under control!
