SAGEM makes available a program for collecting used cartridges, with prepaid envelopes that can be used to send cartridges to a recycling centre (availability depending on the country). COMPACT, COST-EFFECTIVE, ECO-FRIENDLY AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL, AND ESSENTIAL FOR THE SMALLER OFFICE
The new SAGEM range consists of three multifunction B&W laser appliances (MF5402, 5462 and 5482n) delivering both cost-effectiveness and reliability. Equipped with intelligent functions (wireless or direct USB printing and scanning), they are also very energy efficient (economy print functions). With a reduced footprint thanks to their superb compact design, they are perfect for home office or small business use in the SME/VSE sector. The new SAGEM MF range (MF5402, 5462 and 5482n) is a major step forwards from the previous range and in particular in terms of the increased print capacity of up to 20 pages a minute. The paper cassette can hold up to 250 sheets, and the printed optical resolution is excellent (600 dpi). Carefully designed to maximise the available space, these multifunction lasers fit in perfectly with all work environments and are particularly well suited for SoHo (Small Office Home Office) operations. Thanks to its ergonomic and intuitive control panel, all users, even just occasional ones, will be easily able to use all the available functions on the new MF54 range.
3 MODELS FOR ALL OFFICE SITUATIONS
The simplest of the models, the SAGEM MF 5402, is a 3 in 1 multifunction device: printer, copier and scanner. With intelligent functions to ensure the detailed control of its performances: it offers the possibility of wireless printing and scanning thanks to its wireless dongle option, or direct colour scanning to a USB key. The SAGEM MF 5462 includes advanced communication functions making it into a 5-in-1 multifunction with Super G3 fax, (professional modem, 50 automatic document feeder), and telephone capability using the optional cordless DECT handset. It naturally provides the same basic functions as the MF5402 (printer, copier and scanner) and also offers low-cost printing with its Eco button. As for the SAGEM MF5482n, the feature of this is its networking connection capability for small work groups: for sharing the printing, scanning and fax functions (advanced communication functions and in particular simplified fax or SMS operation from the computer). It also delivers advanced network functionalities such as scan-to-mail without PC, scan-to-FTP and PCL5e/PCL6 languages. For all the models in the MF54x2 range, users can print and scan directly on a PC using Linux or Windows (the range is Windows Vista certified), as well as on a Mac, which means that the SAGEM multifunction models are now compatible for all customers in the publishing and communications sectors. Sagem Communications with this new multifunction generation has further enhanced its product range for this growth segment (20% between 2009 and 2011). A range with real appeal, carefully designed with its users in mind, including for some models, a ZenCube room fragrance dispenser. Aromatherapy in the office!
A TRULY ECONOMICAL AND ECOLOGICAL RANGE
Each of the models in the new SAGEM MF54 range offers optimised printing capacities thanks to the Eco button and the long life printing cartridges (up to 5,500 pages). The Toner Save function makes it possible to print up to 9,000 pages (increasing toner life by up to 40%) and thus achieve a huge reduction in the per page cost. In addition, the two cartridge models available (CTR 363 and CTR 363L) are fully ISO 19752 standard compliant. The used cartridges can also be returned to Sagem Communications, using a T envelope, for recycling.
