DUPLEX COLOUR SCAN
The MF 6890n is equipped with a flatbed and a sheetfed scanner for all your duplex scans. Thanks to its Scan-to-mail functionality, send out your paper documents in PDF, TIFF formats to any computer with a mailbox. With the Scanto-FTP and Scan-to-Disk functionalities, archive any paper document (oneor two-sided) directly in a common folder on your network. As a result you have an electronic backup of your archives directly accessible from your computer. With the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) you are able to retrieve and modify the text of any paper document. Just digitize and convert it to an editable document with Omnipage SE.

5 COLOUR PHOTO PRINT

Print your photos directly from the 10-in-1 memory card reader or from a USB dongle. Print brilliant documents and photos by pressing Crystal Image one-touch key and get rid of flaws (sharpening, stretching, colour, under exposure, local density, red eyes).
The MF 6890n benefits from the latest printing standards: emulations PCL6 and SG Script 3 (PS3 emulation). It prints as fast in colour as in black and white (16ppm) and handles A4, A5, B5, letter and legal formats. Its 100-page by-pass and 500-page standard paper trays as well as 3 additional trays, grant you a 2100-sheet autonomy. With the tray selection function, divide up your different paper types (colour, headings, etc.) into the various trays and just select the tray you want to be used for your prints.

1 SCAN-TO-KEY 2

The USB port, easily accessible from the keyboard, enables you to print your documents and photos without your computer, but also to execute a Scan-to-Key in order to save your digitized documents directly on your USB dongle.
2 ERGONOMY & AUTONOMY
The MF 6890n is userfriendly and multifunctional. It is provided with a large colour LCD with 8 lines for text and icons. It has an intuitive menu through which you navigate easily. With the reclining screen, you'll never be disturbed by reflections again. Thus, you always get a perfect display of the menus and an optimal preview of the documents to print. SMS typing and using the adress book are made very simple thanks to the alphabetical keyboard. The scanner and the printer can be split to adapt to any kind of environment. The MF 6890n is a stand-alone machine. From now on, you can do without your computer and work in colour thanks to the following functionalities: Scan-to-mail, Scan-to-FTP, Key-to-display, Scan-to-Key, 10-in-1 memory card reader and Crystal Image button.

With the MF 6890n, you have an 8000-page autonomy per toner. Moreover, it benefits from the Toner-Save functionality with which you can save up to 40% of toner. Thus, you print up to 5000 additional pages (13000 pages in all) Thanks to the duplex mode, cut down your paper consumption by 50% (Paper Save).

Share your MF 6890n on your network
With its integrated Ethernet 10/100 Base T connection, your MF 6890n is connected to the LAN and perfectly adapts to all types of environment. The MF 6890n is compatible with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). Thereby it will fit smoothly into your network. Configure your interface in order to be warned by e-mail or sound alert in case of empty paper trays, empty toner or paper jams. Thanks to its integrated web sever, MF Admin, you can configure all parameters and visualize all statistics (such as the level of consumables, waiting lists,etc.) of your MF 6890n at a distance and from any PC connected to the local network. With its integrated LDAP function, you can access all the address books on the network.

Companion Suite Pro Lan

Companion Suite Pro LAN is the software which is integrated to the MF 6890n. It comprises 3 modules: - An all-round file manager, Document Manager Paperport 9.SE to archive and organize all your digitized documents. - OmniPage SE 3.0 (OCR treatment in Word format) to convert, edit, modify, archive and share all types of paper documents and PDF files. - Companion Manager to manage your fax and SMS traffic through Windows and Mac: sending (from 10 to 25 computers on the network), receiving (on 1 computer) and archiving faxes and SMS as well as managing the address book and group list.
