| phone is working great here is the u.s for 850 mhz 3g as is the gps on froyo. Highly recommend it No led flash.. Complicated to upgrade to froyo - I had the N*xus One and it had 2.2 so 2.1 does not feel as smooth. But when the update for the Galaxy gets released im sure itll be much smoother. | |

| if you like the OS this is a really nice phone. synced with MS outlook 07 better and easier than win mobile 7 (samsung focus). Bottom line, this phone is bar none the best out there right now. I use my phone a TON for work. | |

| Just got the phone and very impressed with it. I found no GPS problem when using google map even inside my house. Still awaiting GPS fix. Lag is also an issue due to file system chosen but hacks are available. | |

Samsung's GT-S5600 Is an Affordable Touchscreen Phone
The device comes with the TouchWiz UI, but no Windows Mobile
The Korean mobile phone maker Samsung came to the Mobile World Congress last week with its pockets full of new handsets, and we already saw some of them officially unveiled by the company, among which the UltraTOUCH handset was also spotted. Along with similar devices coming to the Ultra branch, the manufacturer also showcased the GT-S5600 at the conference, although the phone didn't receive too much attention from the media. The new Samsung GT-S5600 didn't rejoice the same interest the Omnia HD or Bead DJ did, yet it is a device worth mentioning. First of all, we should say that the phone seems to be a rather affordable addition to Samsung's lineup of touchscreen devices, something that could place the handset in direct competition against the budget LG Cookie, or the KP500. Another interesting fact about the new mobile phone is that it includes the Samsung TouchWiz user interface, which has been recently updated by the phone maker, although it seems that Samsung S5600 is no smartphone, given the fact that Windows Mobile hasn't been packed with the handset. On the other hand, its design looks rather appealing, with a plastic casing and an HTC Windows-powered phones-like look. Besides the fact that it comes with the phone maker's TouchWiz UI, there are not too many details on the Samsung GT-S5600 at the moment. For what it's worth, the device is expected to come with a homescreen that would feature a series of widgets, as well as a range of additional tools. For the time being, there are no pieces of information on the availability of the affordable Samsung S5600, nor on the exact price tag that it is to feature. Hopefully, the South Korean company will not wait too long before launching it, and we'll see the device on shelves as soon as possible.
