The Exhibition Manual contains information on matters of relevance to exhibitors at the Patent Information Fair & Conference, from the preparatory stages of the exhibition through to the close of the session. 2. Move In / Move Out

(1) Move In Monday, November 7 13:00 17:00 Tuesday, November 8 9:00 17:00 - If exhibits are sent in via home delivery service, please ensure parcels are marked with the name of the exhibitor, the booth number, and the addressee. (2) Move Out Friday, November 11 17:00 19:00 (remove immediately) Please ensure that any stand-fitting materials used are taken away by yourself. Trash and surplus materials may not be disposed of at or around the venue. Vehicles moving exhibits out should follow the instructions of secretariat staff at the gate.
Overtime Charge During the move-in period, work carried out after 6 p.m. will incur a charge of 21,000 (including tax) per exhibitor per hour. During the exhibition period, work carried out after 6 p.m. will incur a charge of 21,000 (including tax) per exhibitor per hour.

3. Stand-fitting

(1) Basic Booth Facility - The basic booth is constructed from system panels. System panels consist of PVC panels (white color), aluminum beams, and aluminum poles. Booth frontage 2.7m (external measurement) x depth 1.8m x height 2.4m - Side wall forms the boundary with the adjoining exhibitor. - The exhibitor cannot extend the existing rear wall or side wall. - In the case of a corner booth, in principle there is no wall surface on the aisle side. - A display counter will not be set up by the secretariat. - If illustrative panels are required, please use double-sided adhesive tape or suspension chain provided by the secretariat. Nails, screws, and so forth may not be driven directly into the aluminum poles and aluminum beams, nor may adhesives be used nor wall-paper affixed. (2) Fitting out of booths in the venue and moving in exhibits Monday, November 7 13:00 17:00 Tuesday, November 8 9:00 17:00 - During the move-in period, work carried out after 6 p.m. will incur a charge of 21,000 (including tax) per exhibitor per hour. (3) Height of fittings in the exhibition booth - The height of fittings shall not exceed 2.4 meters. - It is also prohibited to attach signboard fittings exceeding 2.4 meters to exhibits. (4) Removal work Friday, November 11 17:00 19:00 (remove immediately) (5) Registration of Stand-Fitting Contractors When the stand-fitting contractor has been appointed, please complete the attached StandFitting Contractor Registration Form (No. 1), and submit this to the secretariat by Friday, October 7 (6) Package Booth (see attached documents) Simple and economical package booths will be available from the secretariat. If these are required, please complete the attached Package Booth Order Form (No. 2), and submit this to the secretariat by Friday, October 7. (7) Lease of Fixtures Fixtures required for exhibits are leased. If you wish to use such fixtures, please complete the attached Lease of Fixtures and Pot Plants Form (No. 5), and submit this to the secretariat by Friday, October 7.

4. Electricity

Electricity Supply Configuration Electricity is supplied in the following configurations: AC single-phase 2-wire 100V 50Hz AC 3-phase 3-wire 200V 50Hz AC single-phase 2-wire 200V 50Hz Request for Electricity Supply 1) If electrical works are required, please complete the attached Electrical Works Request Form (No. 3), and submit this to the secretariat by Friday, October7. Mainline Works and Financial Liability 1) The mainline electricity supply is distributed to the booths by the secretariat, and a circuit breaker provides short-circuit protection. Please be sure to specify clearly on the Electrical works Request Form the position where the switch should be mounted. If this is not indicated, it will be mounted on the left or right of the rear wall (Also, in the case of two or more booths, in principle there will be a single power source only. However, in the case of booths that are separated by an aisle, a power source will be provided for each booth.) 2) Electrical works inside the booth for lighting, electrical wiring, and so forth, from the mainline provided by the secretariat (the switch mentioned in 1) above), approved and distributed by the secretariat in accordance with the Electrical Works Request Form from the exhibitor, are carried out by the exhibitor, with the costs for this borne by the exhibitor. 3) The cost of electrical mainline works for electric lighting (100V) or power (200V) will be borne by the exhibitor as follows: Up to 1 KW For each additional 1 KW thereafter Electricity Usage Charge 1) The electricity usage charge is calculated at 2,520 (including tax) per 1 KW during the exhibition period, based on the wattage for electric lighting and power requested by the exhibitor, and the time used. The mainline works fee and electricity usage charge will be calculated from the aforementioned charge, and all exhibitors using electricity will be billed accordingly. 2) Electricity will be supplied from 13:00 on Tuesday, November 8 to 17:00 on Friday, November 11. During the event itself, electricity will be supplied from 30 minutes before the doors open to 30 minutes after the doors close. However, on the final day electricity will be supplied only until the time the doors close. 9,450 (including tax) 9,450 (including tax)

5. Temporary Telephone (Analogue) / ISDN Line
(1) Temporary Telephone During the exhibition period a temporary telephone or ISDN line can be installed inside the booth on request. Exhibitors wishing to avail themselves of this service should complete the required particulars on the attached Temporary Telephone / ISDN Line Installation Request Form (No. 6), and submit this to Kissei Comtec Co., Ltd. by Friday, October 7. A blanket request will be made once all the forms have been received, at which time you will be notied of the number. (2) Period of Use: November 8(Tue) to November 11(Fri)
(3) Installation Fees Per 1 temporary telephone line 47,250 (including tax) Per 1 ISDN line 63,000 (including tax)
Notes: 1). Initial fees include installation expenses, telephone set (or to modular jack), basic domestic service charge and the exhibitors domestic usage charge. 2) International telephone charges will be billed separately following close of the exhibition. 3) If you desire to use special NTT services (L mode, calling number display, etc.), please indicate your needs on the application form. Charges for these services will be billed separately following close of the exhibition. 4) In the event that analog line telephone domestic usage charges exceed 5,000yen , the excess will be billed separately. 5) In the event of damage to or loss of the provided telephone set, charges for the set will be billed separately. 6) These services include the telephone set (or up to the modular jack). ISDN line charges are to the DSU. Charges for TA, router, FAX or other connected appliancesas well as Internet provider charges are not included.
6.Internet Connection Services
(1) Exhibitors wishing to avail themselves of this service should complete the required par-
ticulars on the attached Internet (ADSL / High speed type) Line Installation Request Form (No.7), and submit this to Kissei Comtec Co., Ltd. by Friday, October 7.

(2) Period of Use

Usage Period: November 8 (Tue), 14:00 (tentative) to November 11 (Fri) (Removal following closing of facilities). Installation Date: November 8 (Tue)
(3) Installation Fees(sales tax included) (1) ADSL type (default type) : 63,000 (2) ADSL type with static IP address/1IP : 76,125 (3) ADSL type with static IP/5IP address : 90,300 (4) High speed type Connection (including provider fees) : 126,000 (5) High speed type with 1 static IP address : 142,800 (6) High speed type with 5 static IP address : 162,750 (7) LAN cable wiring and distirbting service : 21,000 ADSL Line Connection 1) High speed type and ADSL lines are provided as services for the exclusive use of exhibitors. 2) These services are ADSL Type II (dedicated ADSL) and do not permit use of analog telephones. 3) These services involve automatic IP address acquisition from a broadband router (private IP addresses). 4) In the event static IP addresses are required, please choose from (2), (3). 5) Connection speeds cannot be guaranteed. 6) These services include line, provider fees, ADSL modem, broad band router, and broadband router settings (automatic IP address acquisition). 7) Exhibitors must provide their own LAN adapters and LAN cables to connect router to computer, etc. 8) Optional HUB units are available for exhibitors who wish to connect ve or more terminals to a line. High speed type Line Connection 1) BFlets (xed-fee optical ber) lines are for the exclusive use of exhibitors. Lines at the exhibition center are limited, so services are offered on a rst-come, rst-served basis. 2) These services involve automatic IP address acquisition from a broadband router (private IP addresses). 3) In the event static IP addresses are required, please choose from (5), (6). 4) Connection speeds cannot be guaranteed. 5) These services include line, provider fees, broadband router, and broadband router settings (auto matic IP address acquisition). 6) Users must provide their own LAN adapters and LAN cables to connect router to computer, etc. 7) Optional HUB units and cables are available for exhibitors who wish to connect ve or more terminals to a line.

LAN cable wiring and distirbuting service 1) This service allows establishment of Local Area Networks (LAN) between booths. Application for this service alone does not allow access to the Internet. In the event Internet access is required, please apply separately for Internet services as noted. 2) Services include the provision of a cable with RJ-45 connector (HUBs are not provided). Other necessary devices must be provided by the user. 3) In the event the connection desired exceeds 50 meters, two LAN Connections must be applied for. Please consult separately for connections exceeding 100 meters. Anti-Virus Security Measures Recent years have seen the proliferation of virii and worms such as MSBLAST that may infect a computer merely by connecting to the Internet. We request that all exhibitors take full security precautions against unauthorized access and infection by such virii and worms. If forms are received after the deadline for submission, depending on the nature of the information contained therein it may not be possible to arrange for works to be carried out or requests to be handled favorably, and it may therefore be necessary to turn down the application. We ask for your kind understanding in this regard. If forms cannot be submitted by the deadline for unavoidable reasons, please notify the Secretariat beforehand.
