| lousy customer service fair picture broke down less than two years after purchase I have to disagree with the "expert" reviews ... Very Nice price, come on... 50" plasma picture at this price! sharp picture. | |

| Beautiful Image, brightness and colors are amazing, you can easily walk in any electronic store and notice samsung over the other brands. Luckily this all happened under warranty. You have to expect this with plasma since it is a new technology. Never buy plasma w/out extended warranty.. See Other Thoughts. Built-in speakers start to vibrate after going above volume 50, but why would you even go to 50? To watch silent movies? | |

| For a plasma flatscreen TV, this is a great product. You may find better picture quality from the new generation of LCDs out there, but for the price,... I bought this TV in August 2006 and come January it has already broken down. | |

| After reviewing almost every 42 inch plasma in the under $ 2000.00 range, the Samsung was the best overall choice. 1. warranty: Only Samsung and LG give 2 years warranry. There must be a reason; good quality 2. There are few big names in plasma; Samsung, Panasonic,... The picture quality is utterly amazing. Simple installation and setup. Very elegant design. | |
