These HDTV images have riveting impact showing you lifelike detail, clarity, and color like you've never seen before. Samsung's Wide Color Enhancer widens the color reproduction so more colors can be seen, even in bright areas.

areas of the picture where blues and greens are washed out on conventional screens. The system displays wider color reproduction, showing you true colors the fresh green of spring foliage, the intense blue of the summer sky.
Movie Plus for Smooth Fast Moving Action
Original films and videos are shot at 24, 25, or 30 frames per second. But TVs can display more frames per second and therefore need to increase their number. Conventional TVs do this using the 3-2 or 2-2 Pull Down methods that repeat the same frame two or three times. When the image is moving quickly, however, this repetition causes a distinct juddering effect. Samsung does not increase the number of frames by simply repeating them. Instead, calculates our Movie the Plus motion
component of the incoming video signal and intelligently interpolates the new position of the moving object. It then creates additional frames based on those interpolations, so you enjoy smooth fast moving action.

Movie Plus _

Conventional LCD TVs are plagued by motion judder when showing fast moving action in
movies. When you're watching a movie on TV, fast moving images do not show smoothly due to the PAL broadcasting standard. This causes motion judder, which looks like a series of still images, instead of a fluid moving picture. Samsung's exclusive Movie Plus completely eliminates this judder, presenting smooth action, no matter how fast it s going.

Movie Plus

Samsung LCD TVs show fast action with none of the judder you often see on LCD TVs. Films and videos are shot at 24, 25, or 30 frames per second, but TVs use more frames. Conventional TVs insert two or three identical frames, but this causes judder with fast action. Movie Plus calculates the motion component of the incoming video signal and interpolates the action to create new frames without the judder effect.
