The Scheme applies to manufacturers and dealers of DTT receivers who have participated in the Scheme on a voluntary basis (collectively referred to as Suppliers hereafter). The register contains models of DTT receivers on which the Suppliers use the Labels. c o n t a i n e d i n t h e r e g i s t e r i s p r o v i d e d b y t h e S u p p l i e r s a n d i s f o r r e f e r e n c e o n l y. The information
B y g r a n t i n g S u p p l i e r s t h e l i c e n c e t o u s e t h e La b e l s a n d b y p u b l i s h i n g t h e r e g i s t e r, n o w a r r a n t y o r g u a r a n t e e , express or implied, is given from the Government of HKSAR, the Telecommunications Authority and the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (OFTA) as to the accuracy of the information about the DTT receivers or as to the compliance of the DTT receivers with the relevant standards. While OFTA may conduct random tests on the DTT receivers, the tests are limited to certain features. For the list of items that may be tested, please refer to OFTA's website (www.ofta.gov.hk). The Government of HKSAR, the Telecommunications Authority and OFTA makes no representations, warranties or endorsements whatsoever about the suitability of the receivers in the list for individual uses/applications, safety of products, f i t n e s s f o r p u r p o s e s a n d m e r c h a n t a b l e q u a l i t y. The Government of HKSAR, the Telecommunications Authority and OFTA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the use of or inability to use the register or any information contained in it, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using the register or any information contained in it. Participation in the Scheme is on an entirely voluntary basis. Where a product does not bear a Label or is not l i s t e d i n t h i s r e g i s t e r, i t d o e s n o t m e a n t h a t t h e p r o d u c t d o e s n o t s a t i s f y w i t h t h e r e l e v a n t s t a n d a r d s o r t h a t t h e product is not capable of receiving standard-definition television and/or high-definition television programmes.
