An LCD TVs screen comprises of Polarisation filters that help reduce reflections. These Polarisation filters however can have an adverse effect on picture quality as they also block out light from the panel itself. Samsungs Ultra Clear Panel uses new uniform nano particles which can reduce reflection without affecting the Image quality of the picture.
Samsung's LCD 100Hz converts the amount of images intelligently from 50 to 100 frames per second by inserting a frame between each two frames. The inserted frame maintains the detailed motion characteristic of the video, and goes through motion estimation and compensation processing. Therefore, compared to a mere duplication and insertion of frames, more natural motion can be realised without undermining other characteristics such as clarity, brightness and colour.
Typical movies are filmed at 24 frames per second, and are later converted to 50 fps (frame per second) to show on a TV screen. Blu-Ray Disc Players output content in its original forms of 24 fps. The Samsung LCD TV supports these 24 fps sources through the HDMI input, and is capable of showing scenes in the maximum resolution of 1080p as the director intended.
Our upgraded Wide Colour Enhancer 2 technology works by expanding the gamut and colour expression into a third axis, creating a 3D diagram of illuminance. This creates a dynamic display on screen colour and allows traditionally week colours, such as green and blue, to look vivid and deep. In addition, red colours are enhanced to provide stronger colours across the spectrum and the perfect balance of RGB.
To provide you with the best entertainment possible, hot keys have been preset for Sports, Movie and Game modes.
