I received this camera for X-mas, though I did pick it out. Purchased from Walmart for $99.99. The S860 is an 8.2 MP digital camera. I had been using digital cameras for years, and I am looking for a powerful yet affordable digital camera which features that are user friendly.

I Have a Maxxum 5d Digital SLR and have taken over 8000 photos with it. That being said, photography is not just a passing fancy for me. However.

"This is my first every digital camera. The price was right-on since it was on sale, via the internet, as well as the ease of using it. "This is a great camera! It has very good picture quality and many cool features.

"I have a great dSLR, but I wanted a compact point-and-shoot for a trip to Disney. I have several other Samsung products I love. "I like this camera. It was like a new toy for me. It has audio with sound and crystal clear pics. Reasonable price also.

I needed a smaller camera to aide me in day to day activities. I have a problem with my memory and beside the standard notepad and pen. Having used analogue SLRs in the past and done a little darkroom work even, these days I confine my creative urge mainly to digital capture.

Even though I am not techno-savvy, I was able to set up the camera, take, download and touch up pictures without use of the instruction book. We got this camera so that my wife would have something to carry around in her purse. We are youth leaders at our church.
