Quoridor

Quoridor Mobile is a mobile version of a popular strategy board game. It is a simple yet entertaining 2 or 4 player game, of which the strategy is surprisingly deep for its simple rules. You can play a single player game against the phone, or a multi-player game via Bluetooth, or the Web. In 1998 Quoridor was named the winner of the Best Game of the Year Award by Games Magazine. Now at Spaesuvius we launch this game into a version for mobile phones with multiplayer Bluetooth, multiplayer web, and a multilevel play-against-the-phone option. It is a timeless game and it works on almost all phones.

The Game

The object of the game is to reach the opposite side of the board. On your turn you may either move your pawn, or place a wall. You may hinder your opponent with wall placement, but not completely block him off. In the meanwhile, your opponent is trying to do the same to you. The first pawn to reach the opposite side wins the game.
Multiplayer Mode: Web, Bluetooth & Phone
Quoridor can be played against each other via Bluetooth, the Web or on one phone. On the web there is a ranking for players of different levels, and a high score list. The high score and updates can be seen on www.quoridormobile.com.
Play against phone: multi-level
You can play against the phone, which can make it very hard on you. There are three levels of difficulty. You can also use the phone to fill up your missing player in a four player game. Players can compete against each other and they get a ranking which is shown on www.quoridormobile.com.
