SUMMARY

The Digital Video Recorders SHR-5000 series offer MPEG4 real time video and 4 ch. audio recording capable of 100ips record rate(in CIF mode). They can be programmed and controlled locally or remotely by keyboard or network software. The network software is license free and supplied with every DVR. Remote live video is also available by standard browser such as MS Internet Explorer. The DVR can record various kinds of resolution (CIF/2CIF/4CIF). Each channel provides variable record rate features to save HDD consumption. Dual Codec allows stabilized transmission in a low bandwidth network environment. The SHR-5000 Series DVR uses separate Codec's to record videos and to transmit them via a network. This allows high-definition video to be recorded to a HDD and continuous remote monitoring to occur in a low band network environment The SHR-5042 with a built-in CD-RW can easily back up video recorded by the DVR. The DVR comes with a built-in web server in the DVR. This allows remote connection to the DVR through a web browser without the need of a separate program, maximizing user convenience. Monitoring with Network-Integrated Viewer (NetI). The SHR-5000 Series DVR can be monitored with NetI, Samsung Electronics, integrated viewing solution, allowing easy set up of a video management network. For user convenience the SHR-5000 Series DVRs simultaneously output video for both VGA monitors and video monitors.
