Players that did not work or had problems in testing:
Samsung (YP-T9JAB/YP-T9JQU) - Player constantly skips (every 15-20 seconds) while trying to play back audiobooks. Philips Flash Audio Player (SA1100) - Player does not support DRM protected WMA files. Rio Eigen 1.5GB Digital Audio Player - Software would not transfer DRM protected WMA files. Dell DJ Ditty 512 MB Player - Played downloadable audiobooks with no method of monitoring time (timer remained at 0:00 throughout the book). Sandisk Sansa M230/240/250 Player - Could not handle large audiobook files, does not keep track of correct location when pausing/resuming, and has no method of fast forward or rewind. IRiver IFP-895T Player - Did not support playback of DRM protected WMA files.

Plays MP3, WMA, WMA DRM, WMA DRM 10, MP3 files are the most common music format available today. WMA uses better compression technology so users can have smaller files that sound as good as MP3. Works with Rhapsody, Napster, and Yahoo! so users get access to 2 million songs for less than the cost of a CD per month.*
Special Enhanced Music Features
Sound Quality - T9 comes with DNSe which provides a 9-band customizable EQ and 11 preset modes for all types of musical preferences. Playlists are supported as well as an internal Favorites list as an on-the-go playlist Multiple Playback Modes Normal, Repeat, Repeat One, and Shuffle Variable Playback Speed Speeds or slows the music playback between -3x and 3x Customizable skip interval set the FF/RW buttons to move to the next song or between 3-60 seconds within file. T9 has an option to limit the units output volume to protect your ears (toggle either on/off)

Video Playback

Plays MPEG4 video files MPEG4 files are the most common open video format available today. Samsung Multimedia Software included with the T9 transcodes the video on the computer before transferring to the T9, so files on the T9 play at the optimal frame size/rate with minimal effort from the user. Video Resolution: 208x176, Frame Rate: 15fps

Photo Playback

Samsung Multimedia Software transfers JPEG images onto the T9 for viewing on the device. Images can be zoomed and re-centered. Any JPEG on the T9 can become the wallpaper during music playback.

Flash Games

T9 comes with built-in flash games which are managed as individual files so new games can be downloaded to the device or deleted to make room for more. (Games included in the T9: Baseball and Pizza Delivery)

Text Viewer and File Browser
This allows users to view text files on the T9. Text color is customizable and can be viewed in a portrait or landscape view. T9 also comes with a file viewer which allows for users to view and delete any file on the device without the PC.

FM Tuner/Recorder

The built-in FM Tuner will scan the entire FM range in less than 60 seconds and automatically place the available FM stations into presets. To eliminate stations with marginal reception, users can adjust the sensitivity to only preset stations with strong reception. T9 will also record directly from FM in MP3 format for playback later. Users can select to record FM as 96/128/160/192 kbps quality MP3 files.

Voice Recorder

T9 comes with a built-in microphone so users can record live sound as MP3 files onto the T9. The quality of the MP3 file is variable between 32/64/96/128 kbps. T9 is capable of approximately 69 hours per GB of memory (based on 32Kbps quality) so you can record long lectures or events without interruption.
