IP Link Device Interface Communication Sheet

This document provides additional assistance with wiring your Extron IP Link enabled product to your device. Different components may require a different wiring scheme than those listed below. For complete operating instructions , refer to the users manual for the specific Extron IP Link enabled product or the controlled device manufacturers supplied documentation.

Driver notes: Driver has been tested with Sanyo PLC-XT15 which uses similar RS232 control protocol. The PLC-XP10A, PLC-XP10A, & PLC-XP07 projectors do not support reading status. This driver uses Sanyo protocol RS232_1.3model.xls. Projector information obtained from PLC-XP10N, PLC-XP10NA & PLC-XP07N owners manual. RS-232 protocol states Video mute on/off however the On Screen Display (OSD) returns No show. RS-232 protocol states inputs of CG1, CG2 & AV however the OSD returns Computer 1, Computer2 & Video. The Auto Image is only functional on computer inputs.

Cable and adapter requirements for Extron Electronics products:
Use Mouse Serial port Com adapter that is supplied with projector. 12 Pin DIN to RS232 9DB.

Notes for devices:

Must use Control Port 2 for serial communication.
