And thanks to compressed transmission technology, it delivers the fastest scanning performance in its class as well. But productive speed is only part of what makes the AJ6110 an ideal small office solution. It also boasts a scanning resolution of 600 dpi and output resolutions as high as 2,400 x 1,200 dpi, so everything from fine text to photographic images will come out in breathtaking colour and clarity. Plus the use of carbon black ink gives you crisp and clear text rivaling that of laser-printed documents.

Not just a printer and copier, the AJ-6110 also works as a high-quality colour scanner. A convenient Button Manager lets you scan documents directly into applications on your PC. Up to five pre-registered applications are available, including Sharpdesk, e-mail, PC-fax, OCR, Microsoft Word or a different application of your choice. Operation is quick and easy: simply press the Scan button, select an application and press Start!

Productive Scan Once/Print Many Function
The AJ-6110s Scan Once/Print Many function scans originals in a single pass and prints out copies directly from memory at a maximum rate of 9 pages per minute in colour and 16 in monochrome. This function has been further improved in the AJ-6110 so that the memory is used more efficiently. You no longer have to worry about running out of memory in the middle of a page.

Individual Ink Tanks for Economical Operation
Rarely do the four colours of a colour printer run out at the same time most of the time, one colour runs out faster than the others. The AJ-6110 uses individual ink tanks, so you have to replace only a single tank when a colour runs out, instead of all four as with conventional integrated ink cartridges. Whats more, a dual ink level detector with a special optical sensor and dot counter provides real-time status of ink levels, so youll never run out of ink in the middle of an important print job.

Accommodates a Wide Range of Paper
The AJ-6110 is capable of 2-way paper feeding: in addition to its 150-sheet paper tray, it has a Single-Sheet Bypass Feeder that can accommodate a wider range of paper types. This is especially convenient for printing on largesize banner paper and heavy paper that requires a straight paper path.

The bundled Sharpdesk desktop document managing software lets you easily browse through, edit, sort and file your scanned documents. Documents can be printed or exported to e-mail and other applications at the click of a mouse. MGI PhotoSuite 4 SE image editing software is also included.
