It works fine with XP, no issues, but if you want to use it on Windows 7, looks elsewhere. Good quality VGA(when it works), good pictures.

Thsi is an excellenet product! Plug-n-play REALLY is plug-n-play. The flexible base and the pivot make this thing work absolutely anywhere -- laptop.

Tried installing and it crashed, now get tons of errors when trying to boot my computer. I have tried everything to fix. I have used this cam without the provided software on Windows XP and it operates well.

Microsoft Lifecam Hi All. I find the Lifecam VX5000 pretty good. It worked first time without any fuss. Nice sleek design. Unobstrusive. Great Webcam I purchased this webcam for Windows 7 64-bit. web-cam This is my first web-cam that was chosen by reading other reviews and a recommendation. My contacts have remarked how clear and stable it is.

I am very happy with this camera. I suggest shopping around for the best price, as the price can vary greatly. I purchased this principally for use with Skype for communicating with my daughter and it worked perfectly. I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely worthless. I am taking back tomorrow to Office Depot and I am getting my money back. None - okay I have to enter at least ten characters.
