General GBC Announcements
A womens outing on Wednesday, May 25. Destination: Santa Barbara Nordstroms. Bus leaves the church at 8:30am, returning by 5:30pm. A place will be provided in Nordstroms to rest during the day and to check bags to store. It will be a fun day of shopping and fellowship. The cost is $8.00 per person. Contact Bev Goble at 202-4455 to reserve your spot. lois sisters will meet on Friday, May 20 at 9:30am in the Reception Room at church. If you have any questions, please call Joyce at 544-5728. the single ladies will have a Tea Party on Tuesday, May 24 from 11:30 to 1:30 in the gym. Cost is $3.00. Please make your reservation and be sure to notify your caller if you must cancel. grace alive luncheon on June 5 will feature Lifewater International, the local non-profit organization that brings lifesaving water and the gospel to a desperate world. Tickets are $6 and are available today or in the office, or by email to amacy@ gracevine.com. bibles & books for prisoners: Drop your extra Bibles and books in the Bible Box next to the Community Room for local jails, prisons, and juvenile detention centers. Book drive is sponsored by Christian radio 90.5. our family of the month is the Griffin family; Lanny & Michelle, Shawna & Maria. If you see them, thank them for their faithful service in the nursery, Awana, and providing snack preparation for the pre-school classes. Their picture and family information is on the bulletin board. our childrens choirs will present Donkey Tales this evening at 6:00. Please join us as we have a hee-haw - larious time! A reception will follow the performance. mark your calendars for Parents Night Out on Friday, May 20 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Sign-up today at the Childrens Window. This is an evening for our parents to enjoy a night out before summer schedules begin. It is also a time for our students to earn money for camp. Come help give the Good News and inspiration to needy folks who may or may not know Jesus. We can use singers, story tellers, special music, and devotional speakers in our Hymn Sing, every other Monday at 2:00pm at the Care Center at 1220 Farroll Road.
