Returns:

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization by Pacific Abrasive. PASCO will not approve the return of any non-stock product nor for which there are no potential customers. TO MAKE A RETURN: 1. Ask your PASCO customer service representative to issue a return goods authorization (RGA). The RGA must accompany any return. The RGA authorizes acceptance of the shipment and confirms items and quantities as well as specific terms. 2. To speed processing time please have the invoice number and date of the original purchase when requesting a return. 3. Sign the authorization and attach original to the outside of the shipment. 4. Only full case quantities will be considered for returns. No broken cases will be accepted. 5. No returns accepted after one year from date of purchase. 6. Ship Freight Pre-Paid unless otherwise instructed by Pacific Abrasive. PLEASE NOTE: All items must be in salable condition. A restocking charge of 15% will applied to all returns. PASCO reserves the right to deny any and all return authorizations. PASCO cannot accept returns on discontinued items.

Minimum Order Policy:

Pacific Abrasive Supply does not have a minimum order dollar amount, but does have a minimum quantity for any single item. Orders for less than minimum package quantities shown in this price list will be increased to minimum package quantity as shown for the item.

Cancellation Policy:

If a coated abrasive product has not been started into our production, there will be no cancellation charge. If processing has begun there will be a cancellation charge proportional to the stage of completion. Cancellations of other items will be handled on a case by case basis. Pacific Abrasive warrants that all products are free of defects in workmanship and material. We guarantee that our products will fulfill our representations when given normal and proper usage. Claims that our products do not fulfill our representations must be made within 90 days after shipment and their use discontinued pending substantiation of claim. We reserve the right, at our option, to make necessary adjustments or take back the items involved and cancel the order for them without assuming further obligation. Pacific Abrasive Supply Company reserves the right to take a manufacturing leeway of plus or minus 10% of the actual quantity ordered for an item. For wide belts the minimum manufacturing tolerance is plus or minus one belt. Coated Abrasives are dangerous if used improperly. Comply with all safety regulations set by the AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE (ANSI) B7.1, also by the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT (OSHA); covering eye, face, and body protection, wheel and disc speeds, safety guards, flanges, mounting and operating procedures. 4

Aluminum Oxide: Man Made Abrasive
The most popular of all abrasives, aluminum oxide is extremely tough and has a wedge shape for high speed penetration of tough materials without excessive shedding or fracturing of the grain. Aluminum oxide is suited particularly well for grinding high tensile strength materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, tough bronze and hard woods. Aluminum oxide is used whenever toughness (the ability to resist fracturing) is the main consideration. Aluminum oxide products are typically brown in color.

Silicon Carbide: Man Made Abrasive
Next to diamond in hardness, silicon carbide, characterized by its sharp sliver-like grains makes it superior for its ability to penetrate with light cutting pressures. It is primarily used for grinding nonferrous materials such as brass, copper, bronze and aluminum. Other applications of silicon carbide include grinding of glass, wood, rubber and plastics. It is used also to finish polyurethanes, primers, lacquers and sealers. Silicon carbide is the grain of choice for certain finishes on stainless steels. Silicon carbide products are typically black in color.

Zirconia Alumina: Man Made Abrasive
A blocky shaped grain that has a micro-crystalline structure, and is characterized as being self-sharpening. This self-sharpening characteristic gives zirconia alumina good life on heavy stock removal applications. Zirconia alumina is well suited for heavy grinding of metals and for planing operations for wood because of its controlled fracturing that exposes new, sharp cutting edges. Grain Type Backing Bond A A R/R An excellent non-loading stearate paper for dry sanding applications in all trades. The A weight paper utilizes a full phenolic resin bond system. A stearated product designed to resist loading. Superior finishing characteristics. Some competitors will advertise their product as a resin bond when they are really only a urea resin size coat over a glue make coat, not much better than a full glue bond product. Pascos laminating process gives this product improved edge tear resistance over competitive products. Our lowest cost disc, yet it has excellent cut and life. Available as DWT (Disc-With-Tab), DOR (Disc-On-Roll) and Hook & Loop backing. Grits 400 & finer available as DWT or Hook & Loop only. Grit Range Grain Type Backing Bond 80 - 220 A J R/R This is an aluminum oxide J weight 65/35% polyester/cotton open coat product. A Super-Flexed version of K35F. This product is very pliable and conforms to shapes very well. Use K35F for maximum life, K35SF for maximum flexibility. Grit Range Grain Type Backing Bond 100 - 320 A J R/R A stearated cloth disc with all the characteristics of K35F. The stearate treatment reduces loading which improves disc life and gives a better finish. One of the few manufacturers in the industry to offer a stearated cloth product.

As the outer layer of the cartridge roll wears away, new abrasive layers are exposed to the work piece. Cartridge rolls provide an effective method of grinding, deburring, blending, polishing and finishing of metal channels, contours, recesses, side walls, and other hard to reach areas.
