Four new Siemens Gigaset cordless phones for ISDN
Anyone interested in exploiting the advantages of ISDN now has four new Siemens Gigaset cordless phones to choose from. The Gigaset SX670 isdn and the SX675 isdn (with a built-in answering machine) offer an elegant design and are convenient to use. The Gigaset CX470 isdn its answering-machine version, the Gigaset CX475 isdn, are both classical and functional. Thanks to their ECO-DECT function, these new models cut power consumption by up to 60% compared to conventional phones. In addition, users can reduce the variable transmitting power they use.
ISDN is still the first choice for families, people sharing an apartment or in a home office. Siemens Gigaset ISDN phones let users easily enjoy all the advantages of this multi-device service. The base station allows up to six handsets to be registered and assigned individual (MSN) numbers. This makes it possible to call each user directly, and it is easy to see who has incurred what charges. Other functions include brokers calls, holding and forwarding, call redirection, three-party conferences and call waiting. The new ISDN phones can be operated directly via the main connection or on a private branch exchange.
The new Gigaset SX670/675 and CX470/475 isdn are also attractive for environmental reasons. An energy-saving power supply ensures that up to 60% less electricity is consumed. If only one handset is used and is placed in the base stations charger cradle, the power is automatically cut to almost zero. When the handset is not in the cradle or if more than one handset is used, the transmitting power can also be reduced with the new ECO-Mode by 80%.
The Gigaset CX470/475 isdn come in classic black with an illuminated six-line color display and illuminated keypad. Their features also include a phone book with room for up to 150 contacts, handsfree speaking in full-duplex quality, a baby phone that enables you to forward calls to another fixednetwork or mobile phone, SMS text messaging and a port for standard headsets (2.5 mm jack).
The Gigaset SX670/675 isdn offer elegant design and even more features. Their high-quality optics have already secured an IF design award. The clearly laid-out keypad and eight-line illuminated color display with 65,000 colors make using these phones particualrly easy. Integrated office functions such

as a large address book with space for up to 250 complete data records, including three phone numbers and a birthday for each, a calendar, and alarm help users organize their daily lives.
The Gigaset SX675 isdn and CX475 isdn also include a high-quality answering machine. They can record up to 30 minutes of messages, which can be retrieved remotely by means of a PIN. If desired, they can automatically send a notification by SMS to a mobile phone.
All these new ISDN phones will go on sale in October. The Gigaset CX470 isdn costs 89.99 euros and the CX475 isdn with answering machine costs 99.99 euros. The Gigaset SX670 isdn is priced at 119.99 euros and the SX675 isdn with answering machine at 139.99 euros. The Gigaset C47 H and S67 H are recommended as additional handsets. These phones are also compatible with the Gigaset HC450 intercom.
