Go to Menu then select Surf and fun. Select Internet then Profiles. Edit Profile one. Enter details for the following parameters: Profile name: myGlobeWAP WAP Parameters IP address: 192.029.102.103 Port: 9201 2nd address: 192.009.163.034 2nd port: 9201 Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc Linger time: 120 seconds CSD settings Dial-up no: +639172399 Call type: ISDN Login name: globe Password: globe GPRS settings *Deactivated GPRS: No/Yes APN: www.globe.com.ph Login name: Globe Password: Globe To initiate WAP over CSD or GPRS, go to Menu then select Surf and fun. Select Internet then Homepage.
When Deactivated GPRS is set to NO, WAP browsing is over GPRS. When Deactivated GPRS is set to YES, WAP browsing is over CSD.

To install modem driver

1. From the Start Menu, select Settings then Control Panel. 2. Double click the Modems icon. Click Add then put a check on Dont detect my modem;. Click Next. 3. Under Manufacturers, select Standard Modem Types and under Models, select Standard 33600 bps Modem. 4. Select Communication Port (COM 1) then click Next. 5. Click Finish if modem was successfully set up.

To setup GPRS dialer

1. From the Start Menu, select Programs>Accessories>Communications>Dial-up networking. 2. Double click the Make new connection icon. 3. Type your chosen name under the Type a name. 4. At the Select a device slide, select the modem you installed, the Standard 33600 bps modem. 5. Click configure. Set the maximum speed to 115200. 6. Click Connection>Advance. At the Extra settings, type at+cgdcont=1,IP,internet.globe.com.ph, ,0,0. Click OK. 7. Click next. At the telephone number type *99***1#. Click Next then Finish. 8. Right click the dialer you made then select Properties. Unclick the Use area code and dialing properties. 9. Click the Server Types. Unclick all options excluding TCP/IP. 10. To start browsing, double click the dialer and click connect.
