THE LOOK This phone is, I think very attractive, its mainly grey but the buttons and the battery cover are silver.

dont buy it!! this phone is not very good as my freind had one and at first, ya it was ok, but then it got nasty!! Siemens S55 It is a phone for alot of use with 260 hours standby time.

Ready! Activating Bluetooth in the SmartLink This has to be done if the Bluetooth sign in the SmartLink has disappeared. Press the SmartLink green telephone key until the Bluetooth sign appears. Should you have any questions related to your mobile phone, contact your mobile phone dealer, who can also help you to establish the Bluetooth connection.

Enter details for the following parameters: Profile name: myGlobe CSD WAP Parameters IP address: 192.009.163.034 Port: 9201 Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc CSD lingertime: 60 secends or more Conn. Profile: Choose one profile then select Edit. Enter details for the following parameters: Profile name: CSD CSD settings Dial-up no: +639172399 Call type: ISDN Login name: globe Password: globe GPRS settings Activated: No 3. To initiate WAP over CSD, select Surf and fun from the Menu. Select Internet then Homepage. Setting WAP Over GPRS 1. Press the Menu option then select Surf and fun. 2. Select Internet then Profiles. Select one Profile then Edit. Enter details for the following parameters: Profile name: myGlobe GPRS WAP Parameters IP address: 203.177.042.214 Port: 9201
Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc GPRS lingertime: 60 secends or more Conn. Profile: Choose one profile then select Edit. Enter details for the following parameters: Profile name: GPRS GPRS settings Activated: Yes APN: www.globe.com.ph Login name: <blank> Password: <blank> 3. To initiate WAP over GPRS, select Surf and fun from the Menu. Select Internet then Homepage.

1. Select the Menu option then select Messages. 2. Select Msg. Setup then MMS. 3. Activate one profile then press Option. 4. Select Change sett. then enter details for the following parameters: Def. Duration: 60 sec MMS relaysrv.: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc IP Settings: IP address: 192.40.100.20 Port: 9201 Conn. Profile: <Select Change then select one provider. Press Option then select Change sett.> On GPRS settings then select Edit. Enter details for the following parameters: APN: mms.globe.com.ph Login name: <blank> Password: <blank> Rename the provider to MMS. 5. Rename the profile to myGlobe MMS
SIEMENS S55 GPRS Settings for PC
To install modem driver for Siemens M50 1. From the Start Menu, select Settings then Control Panel. 2. Double click the Modems icon. Click Add then put a check on Dont detect my modem;. Click Next. 3. Under Manufacturers, select Standard Modem Types and under Models, select Standard 33600 bps Modem. 4. Select Communication Port (COM 1) then click Next. 5. Click Finish if modem was successfully set up. To setup GPRS dialer 1. From the Start Menu, select Programs>Accessories>Communications>Dial-up networking. 2. Double click the Make new connection icon. 3. Type your chosen name under the Type a name. 4. At the Select a device slide, select Standard 33600 bps modem. 5. Click Connection>Advance. At the Extra settings, type at+cgdcont=1,IP,internet.globe.com.ph, ,0,0. Click OK. 6. Click next. At the telephone number type *99***1#. Click Next then Finish. 7. Right click the dialer then select Properties. Unclick the Use area code and dialing properties. 8. Click Server Types. Unclick all options excluding TCP/IP. 9. To start browsing, double click the dialer and click connect.
