Ex3 Pedometers detect acceleration in each of the 3 axis and therefore the position/ direction of the unit is not crucial as long as it is still and does not swing. The Pedometer is not waterproof therefore treat it carefully. The pedometer does not have an ON/OFF button, since the power consumption when not in use is extremely low.

Filter function

The Pedometer has a function which prevents unwanted registration of steps when standing still or when doing short movements that is not part of the walk/run. For correct step counting the pedometer uses a 10 seconds filter. This means the pedometer needs to be used for 10 seconds before the number of steps is updated in the display.

This pedometer is powered by a Lithium CR2032 battery. Change the battery when the display is dimming. The battery is placed under the battery lid on the back and is reached by unscrewing the screw and removing the battery lid.

Pedometern har en funktion som hindrar onskad registrering av steg nr man str stilla eller gr rrelser som inte r en del av promenaden/lpningen. Fr korrekt stegrkning anvnder pedometern ett 10 sekunders filter. Detta innebr att pedometern mste anvndas under 10 sekunder innan antalet steg uppdateras i displayen.

Pour le comptage correct des pas, le podomtre utilise un filtre de 10 secondes. Les rglages personnels de la longueur de foule et du poids sont ncessaires pour obtenir des valeurs prcises de la distance et des calories consommes. Rgler la longueur de foule en effectuant 10 pas et mesurer ensuite distance parcourue. Diviser par 10 afin de dterminer la longueur de foule.

Setting the time

It is essential to set the time correctly in order to make the 7 day memory function accurately. Press MODE button repeatedly until time is shown in the display. Press and hold SET button until time flashes. Press RESET to change hour. Press SET to change minutes. Press RESET repeatedly to change from 12 to 24 hours format. The format changes to 24 hours after 12 PM has been passed.

Drcken Sie mehrmals auf SET, um das Krpergewicht auf den gewnschten Wert zu erhhen (erhht sich um 1 kg pro 1 Mal drcken bzw. 1 Pfund, wenn MIL ausgewhlt wurde). Drcken und SET halten. Das Krpergewicht erhht sich um 20 kg bzw. 20 Pfund pro Sekunde. Drcken und RESET halten, um den Zhler auf 45 kg oder 100 Pfund zurckzusetzen. Sobald das Krpergewicht eingestellt ist, kehrt der Pedometer automatisch nach einigen Sekunden zum Kalorienmodus zurck.

Seven Day memory

The pedometer has a seven day memory that makes it possible to see your performance during each day the last seven days. Press MODE for two seconds to enter the memory function. Press SET to select day. Press MODE to toggle between steps, distance and calories on the selected day. The data in the memory is stored at midnight every day and the pedometer is automatically reset.

In the lower left or higher right part of the display there is a Step Barometer Function that helps you obtain a healthier life by walking 10,000 steps per day. This barometer is based on the 7 day memory in the pedometer and shows your daily average on the display. Each box in the barometer is equal to an average of 1,666 steps.
