Dear Esterhazy Singer 40th Anniversary Weekend, July 2nd and 3rd 2011 In 2011 we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the choirs first performance, hoping very much that this year will provide an opportunity for many singers across the years to re-establish their connection with Esterhazy Singers In particular we invite you to join us at the centrepiece of our celebrations, a Gala Concert and Dinner in Central London across the weekend of July 2nd and 3rd. Our Gala Concert on July 3rd will include the premiere of a new piece composed for the occasion by Alex Campion, and the choirs first performance of Thomas Tallis remarkable 40 part motet Spem in Alium. As a former singer with the choir, we invite you to rehearse and perform Spem in Alium with us (rehearsing on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd and performing on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd), and to attend the Gala Dinner and other festivities on the evening of Saturday 2nd. You can register to rehearse and perform with us; to attend the Gala Dinner; or both.
