Universal remote control 10 in1
Battery Requirement This remote control needs two batteries to work with. Refer to the direction mark inside the battery apartment and put 2 pieces of fresh AAA, or R03 or UM4 in the battery apartment. Alkaline batteries are recommended. Remember to replace the batteries at least once a year.
Set up By Device Brand Code
According to the attached Device Brand Code List, find out the device brand name and code of the device that you want to control (For example, you can find codes for SkymasterSat: 010, 095, 148, etc). Then follow steps as below: 1. Press the [SET] key and hold it, then press the device key that you want to control, such as [Sat], etc. 2. The LED will be on at the moment. Then release the pressed both keys. 3. Enter in the 3-digit Device Code. (For example: code 095 for Skymaster Sat receiver). 4. If the entered Device Code is correct, the LED will be off automatically. If it is incorrect, the LED will blink twice and keep being at setup mode (being on). Then please return to step C. 5. Try if the keys on Remote Control will work or not with your device. If most keys are not working, please try other code under the same brand, repeat 1 - 5 till you find the main keys work good enough. Remark: In the process of setup, if you want to quit from set up mode, please press the device key. If no key is pressed in 10 seconds, the remote control will leave the setup mode automatically.

Set Up By Auto Search

1. 2. Power on the device you want to control. If it is a VCR or DVD, it must be inserted with a tape/DVD. Press and hold [SET] key, in the meantime, press and hold the Device key (for example: Sat) for more than 3 seconds and then release them, the auto search begins. The remote control enters into Auto Search, LED flashing, and remote control transmits power signal every 2.0 seconds automatically. 3. See if the device reacts or not, once the device reacts, press any key (except SET key) to stop the auto search. 4. Test if the other keys work good enough. If most keys work not good enough, please go to step B-D using Auto Search again to find the best code. Remark: Whenever you want to leave Auto Search mode, press any key (except SET key) to quit, and the LED will be off. The search is over. A new start of the auto search can be started now.

Device Lock/Unlock

This function will make one device code fixed and can not be changed by code setup by Manual Search or Auto Search: A. Strike the device key that you want to fix such as [TV], [DV], [Sat], etc B. Press and hold the [SET] key, then press the [7] key, then release the both pressed keys, the LED will blink twice then off, the code of the current device are locked. C. If you want unlock the current code, press and hold the [SET] key, Then press the [8] key, then release the pressed keys, the LED will blink twice and then off, the current code unlocked. Remark: The fixed code can be changed by unlock or reset only. Only one code can be locked in all devices. If you try to set this function at difference devices, the system would reserve the last setup only. You can make the operation of unlock under any device.
Volume and Mute Lock/Unlock
This function makes you very convenient when you only use one device to adjust volume. For example, you may use your amplifier as your main volume control, then you can use this function to fix the volume and mute key of AUX (amplifier inside AUX), no matter which device you will use (even you will use TV, VCR etc, the volume and mute key of remote control still control the volume and mute of your amplifier). 1. Strike the device key that the volume and mute key you want to fix. 2. Press and hold the [SET] key, then press the [5] key, then release the both pressed keys, the LED will blink twice then off, the volume and mute key of the current device are locked. 3. If you want unlock the current volume and mute key, press and hold the [SET] key, Then press the [6] key, then release the pressed keys, the LED will blink twice and then off, the current volume key and mute key are unlocked.
This will erase all the set-up data you programmed. 1. Press and hold the [SET] key. 2. Then press and hold the [0] key for more than 3 seconds. 3. Then release the both pressed keys, the LED will blink twice then off, your remote control reset. 4

Punch-through function:

When you change the device from one to another, if another device doesnt have volume key and mute key, the remote control will remain the volume key and mute key of last device. Device code display: The device code is a 3-digit number and any one of the digits can be indicated: 1. Press and hold the [SET] key, in the mean time press the digit that you want to display, such as 1, 2, or 3. 2. Release the both pressed keys. 3. Count the times that the LED blinks, and the blinking time is the digit. If there is no blink, the digit is zero. For example: SET+1 (first digit): LED blinks 1 time SET+2 (second digit): LED blinks 3 times SET+3 (third digit): LED blinks 8 times The indicated code is: 138

Others

After you have finished set-up, first please press the device key (TV or VCR) on remote control that you want to use, then operate your remote control normally. If you find your remote control disorder, please take out the batteries, press keys several times to discharge the unit and then you put the batteries again. Your remote control may be normally now. Please note that some keys of this remote control could have some other symbols like your original remote control. RC 10 - UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL
Thank you for having purchased our new RC 10 remote control.Your RC 10 is powered by 2 type "AAA" batteries (not included) and can be used for the remote control of up to 10 different devices, including TV, video recorder, DVD player, satellite receiver or cable box, CD player, tuner (radio), tape recorder and amplifier. By using the AUX option, you can also control a second TV set, video recorder, satellite receiver, cable box, CD player, tuner, tape recorder or amplifier.
Easy SET -UP to operate your TELEVISION
1. Insert 2 new alkaline 1.5V batteries AAA/LR03 into the back of your RC 10; Follow the markings in the battery compartment. 2. Switch on your TELEVISION. 3. Look for the brand name of your TELEVISION (e.g. Sony) on the attached list with codes. 4. Next to the brand name you will find one or more 3-digit code numbers which have to be entered into your RC 10 remote control. 5. Press the TV key on your RC 10 (for about 5 seconds) until the LED flashes twice. 6. Enter the first 3-digit code from the list (e.g. 3 for Sony) with the number keys on your RC 10. 7. The LED will flash twice to indicate that the code has been accepted. 8. Aim your RC 10 at your TELEVISION and press the key.Your RC 10 is set up correctly if your TELEVISION switches off. 9. If your TELEVISION does not react and/or it operates incorrectly, repeat step 3. to step 8. by entering the next 3-digit code from the list. 10. If none of the 3-digits codes of this form operates your TELEVISION properly, use the Search Method of your RC 10 remote control.

The set-up to operate your VIDEO RECORDER is similar to the set-up procedures for your television set. Follow the steps 1. until step 10. by using the VCR key on your RC 10 and reading the word VIDEO RECORDER replacing the word TELEVISION.
Easy SET -UP to operate your SATELLITE RECEIVER or CABLE BOX
The set-up to operate your SATELLITE RECEIVER or CABLE BOX is similar to the set-up procedures for your television set. Follow the steps 1. until step 10. by using the SAT key on your RC 10 and reading the word SATELLITE RECEIVER / CABLE BOX replacing the word TELEVISION.
Easy SET -UP for the control of your DVD PLAYER
To programme the remote control to operate your DVD PLAYER, proceed as described for the television set. Complete steps 1 to 10 using the DVD key on your RC 10. For TV, simply read DVD AUX PLAYER.
Easy SET -UP to operate your CD-PLAYER
The set-up to operate your CD-PLAYER is almost similar to the set-up procedures for your television set: 1. Easy programming for the control of your AMPLIFIER
To programme the remote control to operate your AMPLIFIER, proceed as described for the CD PLAYER. Complete steps 1 to 10 using the AMP/ DVD key on your RC 10. For CD PLAYER, simply AUX read AMPLIFIER.

Search Method

If the Easy Set-Up procedure was not successfully, try the Automatic Search Method on your RC 10 remote control: A. Make sure that 2 new batteries have been inserted correctly (see step 1. of the Easy Set-Up). B. Switch on your TELEVISION. C. Press the TV key on your RC 10 (for about 5 seconds) until the LED flashes twice. with the number keys of your RC 10.The LED flashes twice. D. Enter code 0 E. Press the key on your RC 10 until your TV SET is switched off.This might take up to 15 minutes. (During a code scan for VCR, DVD, CD or TAPE, press and hold the I key; during a TUNER scan, press and hold key 2 ). F. Now press the TV key on your RC 10 again until the LED flashes twice. G. If your TELEVISION operates incorrectly, repeat step B. to step F.A new code search begins with the last code number found in the previous search. Please be patient.There may be many codes to search through before the code for your device is found. To complete a code scan for VCR, SAT, DVD, CD,TAPE,TUNER or AMP, proceed as described for a TV AUX code scan. Complete steps A to G and press keys VCR , SAT , DVD , /SHIFT+ CD/ TV , AUX /SHIFT + TAPE/ VCR , /SHIFT + TUNER/ SAT or /SHIFT + AMP/ DVD for the respective device. At step E, for SAT and AMP, press the key; for VCR, DVD, CD and TAPE, press the I for TUNER, press key 2
