Configuration Firmware upgrade through the routers web based configuration via an Internet Explorer (IE)
a. Enter Barricades default IP 192.168.2.1 in Internet Explorer to access configuration page You will be greeted with a login screen, please click Login. By default, there is no password for the web admin console. b. Click on the Advanced Setup c. Please go to Tools Firmware Upgrade
d. Click on the Browse button to locate the firmware. (Please unzip the file before firmware upgrade) Please highlight the particular firmware and click Open button.
e. Click Apply to start the firmware upgrade process. Warning: Please do not power off the router during the upgrading. f. Please wait the router to reboot itself after the firmware upgrade. g. After successfully boot up, please login to the web admin console again to make all the setting is correct. h. Finish

Information It will use the routers web based console to configure the WEP via the Web Browser.
a. Enter Barricades default IP 192.168.2.1 in Internet Explorer to access configuration page b. You will be greeted with a login screen. By default, there is no password for this model of router. Click LOGIN c. Click on the Advanced Setup d. Please go to Wireless Encryption
e. Please click on the drop down menu under WEP Mode:
f. You can either choose 64-bit WEP (required 10 hexadecimal key) or 128-bit WEP (required 26 hexadecimal key). Hexadecimal is from 0-9 and a-f.
g. Please choose which mode you prefer (64-bit or 128-bit WEP Key)
For example, if you select 64-bit key please enter 10 hexadecimal key in Key 1 (1234567890) and click Apply. You need to enter the same key in your wireless client utility. h. Finish.
