I've got an ASUS PCDL Deluxe which also uses the Intel "SATA RAID" ICH5/6 chipset like your board as well as the same hard disk brand and capacity and it didn't exhibit any problems.

Sometimes the disk burns OK, but at other times it seems to stop partway through and I have to abort. This is just burning an ordinary data disk with about 100Mb of data or less. I'm using XP Home. Any ideas? TIA.
