Sony Bluetooth Audio Receiver DRC-BT15
Hong Kong, June 16, 2008 Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited today launched the new Bluetooth audio receiver, DRC-BT15, which is designed to receive 2-channel stereo audio streams from a wide array of music sources via the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) of wireless Bluetooth technology. The DRC-BT15 can receive streamed music from such Bluetooth-enabled devices as music players, personal computers and mobile phones. When connected to any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, the audio receiver enables users to enjoy the freedom of hands-free calls. Users can connect the Bluetooth audio receiver DRC-BT15 to their favorite headphones and extend this wireless streaming technology to headphone styles that may not be available with embedded stereo Bluetooth capabilities. The Bluetooth audio receiver is extremely lightweight and compact, allowing you to clip to your clothing or wear on your neck with a strap. Enjoying music on-the-go has never been so easy. Simply plug your preferred headphones into the stereo mini-jack on the audio receiver, pair the receiver with a compatible Bluetooth device such as the Walkman MP3 player NWZ-A820 or a mobile phone, and start streaming music in stereo. A simple toggle allows for basic operation with remote control from any Bluetooth-enabled music source with the Bluetooth AVRCP or Audio/Video remote control profile. An embedded microphone can be used for hands-free calls when you pair the audio receiver to a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
Available in four colours (black, white, blue and red), the DRC-BT15 comes bundled with a pair of high quality headphones MDR-EX85 and offers a choice of stand-alone receiver (black).
