This is a great ultra-slim point-and-shoot camera, its aimed for the novice-intermediate consumers. Big Screen, great accessories available, sony quality Battery door feels a little cheap. It would probablty break easily if mishandled

Small, Durable, Great outside photos Terrible Battery Life, So-So Inside Photos, Long shutter delay, Finding a Replacement USB cord impossible Overall, I was pleased with this camera. It was mostly what I was looking for in a very compact camera. The camera takes great pictures outdoors.

I bought this just a couple weeks ago, and having previously had the DSC-T1 and a Canon SD-400, I think this camera is superb. If you want one fo the smallest carry anywhere type digital cameras available then this is one to consider. It takes great pictures for its size.

great addon I love this case form install camera, use of the buttons, prep. the seal and reinstalling seal was ez. makes camera bigger but not heavy. sony dsc-t9 Pros: very slim and easy to carry, user friendly functions Cons: Unsatisfactory pictures indoor,lots of noise.

In 2006, I have bought Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T9 in Hong Kong. What i bought is the black one. Compare with the other colours, black is more attracting!

Sony Announces Cyber-shot DSC-T9

With image stabilizing

Sony has announced the next member of the T lineup, the new Cyber-shot DSC-T9 model, the first in this category to offer both Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization and high light sensitivity. The DSC-T9 features a 6MP sensor, a 3x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar optical zoom lens, MPEG movie recording, and 58 MB of internal memory for storage and easy transfer to an optional Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media card, now available in capacities up to two gigabytes. Sony is the first manufacturer to incorporate an advanced lens-shift optical image stabilizer into a camera with a folded-path lens system. This is what allows for a compact form; the lens does not have to extend from the body of the camera. The model is equipped with a newly-developed lens-shift system with two gyro-sensors that detects hand movement, and automatically calculates the compensation needed to provide a clear, crisp image. With a slim body less than one-inch wide, this compact powerhouse not only takes great pictures but also brings them to life with Sony's new Clear Photo Plus LCD screen and slide show function. The 2.5-inch LCD features astonishing vividness and greatly improved color reproduction compared to previous models. The Cyber-shot DSC-T9 camera will be available in January for about $450.
