You can fall asleep to the radio sound and you will be awakened by the radio or buzzer alarm at the preset time.

Troubleshooting

Should any problem occur with the unit, make the following simple checks to determine whether or not servicing is required. If the problem persists, consult the nearest Sony dealer. The clock does not show the correct time. Has an electrical power outage lasting more than an hour occurred? The radio or buzzer alarm does not sound at the preset alarm time. Has the desired radio and/or buzzer alarm mode been activated with the ALARM MODE button (A RADIO and/or B BUZZER indication shown in the display)?

Precautions

Operate the unit on the power sources specified in Specifications. The nameplate indicating voltage, etc. is located on the AC power adaptor. Disconnect the cord by grasping the plug. Never pull it by the cord. Do not leave the unit in a location near a heat source such as a radiator or airduct, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration, or shock. Do not place the unit on surfaces (rugs, blankets, etc.) or near materials (curtains, draperies) that block the ventilation holes. Should any liquid or solid object fall into the unit, unplug the unit and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it further. When the casing becomes soiled, clean it with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as they may mar the casing. The unit is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet, even if the unit itself has been turned off. Rglage de lalarme

Vous pouvez rgler les alarmes par radio et par sonnerie pour quelles se dclenchent lheure de votre choix. Noubliez pas de rgler lheure avant de rgler lalarme (voir Rglage de lhorloge) et de prrgler une station radio sur la touche de prrglage 1 (voir Accord par prrglage).

halten, drcken Sie TUNING/TIME SET + oder , bis die richtige Uhrzeit angezeigt wird. Beim Loslassen von ENTER/CLOCK nimmt die Uhr den Betrieb auf.
Zum schnelleren ndern der Ziffern, drcken Sie + oder whrend Sie gleichzeitig ENTER/ CLOCK gedrckt halten. Das Uhrzeit-Anzeigesystem ist von Modell zu Modell verschieden. Beim 12-Stunden-Modell: AM 12:00 = Mitternacht Beim 24-Stunden-Modell: 0:00 = Mitternacht Zum sekundengenauen Einstellen der Uhrzeit lassen Sie im Schritt 2 die ENTER/CLOCK-Taste bei Ertnen eines Zeitzeichens los. Bei ausgeschaltetem Radio blinkt der Doppelpunkt (:) in der Uhrzeitanzeige, bei eingeschaltetem Radio leuchtet der Doppelpunkt stndig. Im Display blinkt AM 12:00 oder 0:00.

Pour rgler lheure plus rapidement, tenez la touche + ou enfonce tout en appuyant sur ENTER/CLOCK. Le format de lheure varie en fonction du modle. Format de 12 heures : AM 12:00 = minuit Format de 24 heures : 0:00 = minuit Pour rgler lheure en partant de zro pour les secondes, relchez ENTER/CLOCK au top horaire ltape 2. Les deux points (:) de lindication de lheure clignotent lorsque la radio est hors tension, et ils restent allums lorsque la radio est sous tension.

When using the radio alarm, preset the station you wish to serve as the alarm (the wake-up frequency) under preset button 1.
To change a preset station
Press the preset number again after tuning manually to a different station. The previous station is replaced by the new one.

Lorsque lheure de lalarme est atteinte, la radio sallume ou la sonnerie retentit. La radio steint ou la sonnerie sarrte aprs 60 minutes ou quand lalarme est dsactive.

Pour arrter lalarme

Appuyez sur ALARM RESET pendant le fonctionnement de lalarme.
Lalarme se dclenchera de nouveau le jour suivant la mme heure.

Beim Nord- und Sd-Amerika-Modell betrgt das UKW-Abstimmraster 0,1 MHz und das MW-Abstimmraster 10 kHz. Beim Modell fr andere Lnder betrgt das UKWAbstimmraster 0,05 MHz und das MWAbstimmraster 9 kHz. (Beachten Sie jedoch, da die UKW-Frequenzanzeige lediglich in 0,1 MHz-Schritten weiterschaltet.) Das LW-Abstimmraster betrgt 9 kHz. Am oberen oder unteren Ende des Wellenbereichs ertnen Piepsignale und der Abstimmvorgang stoppt.
Zum Stoppen des Alarmtons
Drcken Sie ALARM RESET, whrend der Alarmton zu hren ist.
Der Alarm ertnt am nchsten Tag zur gleichen Zeit erneut.
