5 Appuyez sur PRESET TUNE + ou pour slectionner le numro
que vous souhaitez prrgler, puis appuyez sur ENTERCLOCK.
Aprs avoir slectionn le prrgl (affich avec lindication PRESET ) rgl sur la station de radio, une pression sur ENTERCLOCK supprime la station prrgle et slectionne la station reue pour le prrglage. Par exemple : fentre daffichage lorsque vous prrglez 90,0 MHz FM sur la position 1.

4 Adjust the volume with VOL. Deleting a preset station 3 4
Press POWER to turn on the power. Select the band with BAND. Press PRESET TUNE + or to select the preset number to be deleted. Hold down ENTERCLOCK until PRESET, and the preset number flash.

Notes on batteries
Do not charge the dry batteries. Do not carry the dry batteries with coins or other metallic objects. It can generate heat if the positive and negative terminals of the batteries are accidentally contacted by a metallic object. Do not use different types of batteries at the same time. When you replace the batteries, replace both with new ones. When you are not going to use the unit for a long time, remove the batteries to avoid damage from battery leakage and corrosion.
Preset number to be deleted

Pour annuler le mode de prrglage, appuyez sur BAND. Le mode de prrglage prcdant ltape 4 est restaur.
Recherche dune station prrgle 1 Appuyez sur POWER pour mettre lappareil sous tension. 2 Appuyez sur BAND pour slectionner la bande. 3 Appuyez sur PRESET TUNE + ou pour slectionner le
numro prrgl souhait.
Seuls les numros prrgls rgls sur certaines stations sont affichs.
If the battery compartment lid comes off
The battery compartment lid is designed to come off when opened with excessive force. To put it back on, see illustration. (See Fig. A- )
Remarque Ne mettez pas plus de 40 secondes pour remplacer les piles, sinon le rglage de lhorloge, ainsi que les stations prrgles seront rinitialiss. Dans ce cas, rglez nouveau ces fonctions.

1 Insrez le crochet gauche du couvercle dans lorifice gauche de lappareil. 2 Engagez le crochet droit sur la partie suprieure droite du logement. 3 Faites glisser le crochet droit vers lorifice droit de lappareil.

Notes The clock system of this unit is 24-hour system (0:00 = midnight). To set the current time exactly, after setting the minutes and press ENTERCLOCK with the time signal (such as a radio station). Once you start setting the clock, you must perform each step within 65 seconds, or the clock setting mode will be cancelled. To cancel the clock setting mode, press POWER to turn on the power, and press POWER again to turn off. The clock setting mode will be cancelled.

Troubleshooting
Should any problem persist after you have made the following checks, consult your nearest Sony dealer. All buttons do not operate at all. - is displayed. slide HOLD so that - disappear. Display is dim, or no indication is displayed. Weak batteries. The unit is being used in extremely high or low temperatures or in a place with excessive moisture. Very weak or interrupted sound, or unsatisfactory reception. Weak batteries. In a vehicle or in a building, listen near a window. The station cannot be received when PRESET TUNE + or is pressed. The station has not been preset. The memory of the station has been erased. Preset the station again. Sound is not heard and Weak batteries. flashes in the display.

Prvention dun changement accidentel

Lorsque vous faites coulisser la touche HOLD dans le sens de la flche, - saffiche. Toutes les autres touches de la radio sont inoprantes. Cette fonction empche une mise sous tension accidentelle de la radio ou une modification involontaire de la frquence radio. Pour dbloquer la fonction, faites coulisser la touche HOLD dans le sens oppos la flche de sorte que - disparaisse.

1 Press POWER to turn off the power. 2 While holding down ENTERCLOCK, keep pressing POWER
for more than 5 seconds.
You will hear the two short beeps and the channel step will change. 10kHz or 9kHz will be displayed for 2 seconds in the display window. To change the channel step again, repeat step 2. Note When the AM channel step is changed, the clock time will be kept but the preset stations for AM will be initialized.
Precautions
Operate the unit only on 3 V DC with two R03 (size AAA) batteries. The nameplate indicating operating voltage, etc. is located on the bottom exterior. Avoid exposure to temperature extremes, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust or mechanical shock. Never leave in a car parked in the sun. Should anything fall into the unit, remove the batteries, and have the unit checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further. To clean the casing, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. In vehicles or buildings, radio reception may be difficult or noisy. Try listening near a window. Since a strong magnet is used for the speaker, keep personal credit cards using magnetic coding or spring-wound watches away from the unit to prevent them from possible damage caused by the magnet. This product is not designed to be splash-resistant, so you should take care to use the unit when raining, snowing or in a water-splash place. Disposal of Old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with separate collection systems) This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
