Wireless Convenience:

Enjoy the freedom of wireless hook-up. The built-in infrared capability provides wireless connection to Sonys PCS-1600 series videoconference systems. Add a Sony IFT-R20 infrared receiver, and the document stand can also be used wirelessly with Sonys PCS-6000 videoconference system or with any other videoconference system on the market.

The Take Control Panel:

Take command of your presentations. The multi-function control panel provides one-touch command of operations such as focus, shutter speed, brightness, zoom, and power. Or take control remotely by using the Remote Commander unit of the PCS-1600 series videoconferencing system.
Instant Computer Presentations:
Turn any TV or monitor into a presentation device. The built-in scan converter converts a computer source to video for presentation on any NTSC display device. Computer applications, such as PowerPoint presentations can then be incorporated into a videoconference and displayed on the monitor or on any TV.

PCS-DS150 Features

LaserLink Video Transmission: The PCS-DS150 communicates with infrared-enabled videoconferencing system from up to 16 feet away, eliminating the need for direct wiring. Built-in CCD Camera: Its 1/4" CCD Imaging provides clear, crisp images when viewing documents or 3D objects. The 18x zoom lens is perfect for close-ups, and its low light capability (3 lux) provides detailed images even in below normal room light.
Versatile Camera Movement: The camera arm can be raised or lowered for viewing 3D objects on a flat surface or for viewing people, wall charts, or large photographs, making it perfect for presenting legal evidence in a courtroom setting. The camera head can be swiveled for optimal viewing angles. Simple Controls: The camera and basic functions can be controlled from a convenient panel at the base of the unit or directly through the Remote Commander unit of the PCS-1600 series videoconferencing system.
Built-in Scan Converter: Converts PC output to a video source by converting RGB signals to NTSC. This feature incorporates computer applications such as PowerPoint directly into a videoconference and displays them on the monitor. Video Input/Output: An S-Video input enables additional video sources, such as a video camera or DVD player, to be added to a presentation or videoconference. The S-Video output transforms any TV into a presentation device by providing video display capability via a wired hookup. Convenient Storage: The CCD camera can be folded for safe, compact storage in a classroom or conference room.
