| Sony MDR- NC500 does exactly what it says on the can I purchased the NC500 as a replacement for the Sony NC6 that I purchased back in 2004. Worth every penny. Bought these for a long haul flight to Australia. Cancelled out engine and cabin noise brilliantly. Good sound quality. | |

Annoying intermittent thump Bought this to replace my Bose noise cancelling headphones whose headband broke.
